Yeah I had this, I wanted to say CD but it was a cassette, I loved this album so much, then I found Yngwie Malmsteen and left Guy behind. sorry Guy, you still rock Dude !
Thanks for posting this ...He does know some tricks, Dude started out as a drummer, I hear some licks from Michael Angelos Star-Licks video. This is mid 80's shred guitar. Angelo never uses pick harmonics, slows him down I guess.
shortly after hearing this, i threw myself into a meat grinder, from atop the empire state bulding, while lighting myself on fire. i landed on a cactus sculpture made out of nails, and then got hit by a taxi. then i stood up and got run over by a steam roller driven by an angry postal worker who threw a grenade at my face. all of it was less torturous then ever having to sit through this "song" ever again.
My username is metalhead4lifeyeah. My album is in the works. This guy may know a little trick or two more than me and may be able to shred a little faster (at certain things)..MAYBE but I'm a fast player myself in the same style and I sure wouldn't keep anything recorded that has any missed notes/off key. Then again he probably didn't know AT THE TIME since he wasn't as experienced as he probably is now. Several years ago I was shredding like this and was off key too in spots but not now.
I have this album on tape that i found in a second hand store. still relatively in good shape, can tell it was originally made in the 80s. thought about selling it, but where am i going to get another one? some day i will have to made the tape into a wav file.
haha. i suppose. hey give me your email, or someway to get in touch with you, if i ever get to it. i have to figure out how and/or buy the equipment for it. wont be for quite some time probably lol
Loved this back in the day! I always wondered what happend to him too. All I knew about him was he used to be a drummer. The late great Kevin Dubrow does the scream on a track and Alice Copper is on the On the Verge cut
Used to have a copy of this and listened to it religiously. That intro riff still sends shivers down my spine all these years later. Thanks for posting!

Love this band.. I got this album when it first came out, and I was so bummed that these guys did not become as huge as they deserved.

I'm just now discovering this guy
And I'm amazed and inspired!
I wanted to see a player who made
Instrumentals only with no singer/song attached!
Anyone know where his music is sold these days? eBay only?

How are you sampling your songs? This is the worst digitizing I've heard on YouTube, and GMD deserves much better than this!

Sloppy, bad production, song not well arranged. Sounds like a dude just shredding at practice.

Also to add..........many notes off key.
