hard to say because we don't know how tough Karelin's chin is.

He is a Judo blackbelt though & also competed in Sambo I heard which is also Fedor's style.

Anyway to be honest that fight shouldn't even happen because Karelin is a SHW, so if he had a decent chin & striking he would have ragdolled Fedor in his prime.

Karelin himself said that Fedor would put him in a hospital but I think thats just him being humble.

MMA came too late, we missed out on seeing him compete which is a shame

By the way Rulon Gardner the guy that beat Karelin in the 2000 Olympics did have one MMA fight against Hidehiko Yoshida a Judo gold medalist at Pride Shockwave 2004, he surprised everyone by standing & boxing, won a unanimous decision.

He later said he didn't like being hit in the nor hitting another person & hasn't competed since.

i'm talking about a street fight, without gloves to soften the impact of a punch or a mat. ive done both boxing and wrestling.

listen 2 this- a punch is faster than a shot. when the fight is between 2 hwts and its WITHOUT gloves, the 1st punch is a guaranteed knockout. GUARANTEED.

but if its on a mat or with gloves, karelin would b able to get close and grab a hold of K and take him down, ur right.

The most impressive thing about him throwing around those guys is that the guys he's throwing around were the best in the world other than him. It's too bad MMA wasn't bigger when he was in his prime. I think he would have made every bit as good a fighter as he was a wrestler. Be realistic if this guy Karelin has a hard time beating a Japanese nobody, than how would he beat Fedor. If Karelin tries to tie up with him, Fedor would elbow or knee him, if he tries to shoot in he would knock him out. Fedor too has some great wrestling skills, he would completely annihilate Karelin, Fedor is a master and has expertise in many areas and spheres of martial arts and is an athlete on another level.

Karelin is one of the strongest men in the history of sports. He lifted 300 pound men and threw them on the ground like sandbags. Howeever, Fedor is well versed in multiple styles, not just Greco Roman as Karelin is.

Also Karelin is not a dirty fighter as Fedor can sometimes be. The game is different. There is little way to compare Karelin Vs. Fedor for the fact that their mediums are quite different.

It's like comparing a photographer with a painter.  It simply doesn't work.

If he had anything to prove as a fighter, he would NOT be fighting at the level that he is now.

Fedor has never rejected fighting in the UFC, his managers couldn't come to terms with that fagget Dana White because Dana won't let Fedor compete in Sambo competitions in Russia, so his managers rejected. And talking about rewards and medals, Fedor for 10 years in a row was the 1st place winner in all major Sambo competitions World and Russian championships. Also he placed and won many Judo tournaments.

Really? Only because of Sambo competitions? Dana White has done a lot for the UFC. Even if there is a small element of truth with samba restrictions, I am sure that Fedor's management was also to blame for the lack of progress with getting Fedor signed to UFC.

Ex-Pride fighters have a winning record overall in the UFC, so the trend you are referring to is biased by a few special cases. You are also ignoring the fact that ex-pride fighters attained 3 of the UFC belts in a short amount of time. Remember, the ex-Pride fighters are fighting in an unfamiliar cage and with unfamiliar rules (which contradict a lot of the muscle memory and training that they built up in Pride). Yet, they still have an overall winning record and 3 championships.
