  • Hey man, Great video! I'm getting a Cirrus 5 tomorrow, and I've heard that the stock pickups weren't all that great, are you using the stock, and if not, what kind are you using?

    hey man...the stock are good....on this video...its all stock....but now I have Aguliar pre-amps....it made a good bass sound like a GREAT BASS!!

  • Hi, how do you qualify the B String sound compared to a Laklaknd 55-01 or a G&L Tribute.(both 35" scale)?

    (for reference: I play in Bb (half step down), and mostly play rock driven music , with chorus and flange sometimes, and a little bit of distortion)

    both of those are sweet basses...but it may work for rock driven music.....i know for Gospel...it cuts thru....EVERYTHING! i hope thats helps..

  • Very nice! I don't slap for crap. I'm a Jamerson-Prestia-style finger guy. But you make me want to try and get better at slapping, really just integrating it into songs.

  • thunderbird.. the only decent gibson bass. known for its growl. epiphone makes a cheap copy but sounds almost the same.
