I think you did very well on the chorus. "Lucky / to" seemed too far split, but you did a great job with "that / in". The pause makes sentence at "important / you're", but then it seems like too much when at the end of the same line there's another break.

I loved the different lines in the final chorus, but the last four lines seemed repetitive. Same vocals, same guitar.

I like this song as well, but as you said it sounds unfinished. The first four-line verse was well done in context of the song, the second one felt a little slower, and the third was incredibly slow in comparison to both the other short verses and the rest of the song.

If you have hard time writing melody lines for your lyrics, you might wanna try making melodies first then patch your lyrics onto it, change, add and drop some words.
