The arguing over the Genre is kind of silly, but it's helpful to know how to describe a band.

Officially they seem to be "Trip Rock", which is Trip Hop but with more guitars and a more industrial vibe. They also fit into the 90s Gothic umbrella with acts like Switchblade Symphony.

I'd recommend people hear the album version of this song. There are bits that are cooler about this version but the album version actually makes you feel "Euphoria".

@MedicineMelanch0ly Also, if you listen to Massive Attack's Mezzanine, and Sneaker Pimps Becoming X you can kind of see where a lot of Collide's style evolved from. It definitely comes heavily from Trip Hop. One of the Liz Fraser tracks on Mezzanine, I believe Black Milk has a guitar section that's similar to the clean parts in this, only used as a break down.

an expiremental combination of gothic and industrial roots with trip hop. It blends very well and creates something otherwordly. It's not hard to understand what certain music contains and sticks to and what doesn't. .. just some kid comes in says emo, everyone flips out and some people get pissy when someone types GOTH.
