Guys, I'm thinking about getting this phone. Can you add an MP3 song as the ringtone? Or does it just use preset polyphonic ones? Also, what are some CONS about getting this phone?

its default ringtone is in polyphonic but u can set ur mp3s as your ringtones i have one it works fine but it gets dirt very easily keys are decent for texting.

nah its mp3. just add the songs via USB and you can choose it to be your ringtone :)

Well,i have looked at both of em and seen that the W980 got more "Phone memory" than the W508,but the W508 has a flashlight and the W980 does not,which bugs me to be honest!

Haven't even touched a W508 so i have no idea what to choose between the W980 and the W508...

yeah, i too agree with Geardead, w980 is more high end phone compared to W508. if the price difference is not much, u should go for w980i. personal opinion
