I think that just the fact that Wes is even in a comparison with David Phelps is a testiment to his ability. David Phelps is one of the greatest singers in the world. PERIOD. Wes has an amazing gift as well and I would pay to see either any day!

Very clever and very funny. In all honesty, David Phelps is a technically better and more unique singer, being the highest leggero pop singer with a "filled voice." Wes Hampton is far more humble, and works with a group better. When you have Phelps voice singing "Let Freedom Ring" its pretty unreal how his talent just blows away other powerful, skilled singers.

BOTH men are amazing, excellent singers, with two different styles. Nobody has these kinds of battles over Guy vs. Michael English, or Marsh vs. Mark! Because they are all different...the Vocal Band realizes that and creates AMAZING music with the men GOD has pulled together. And absolutely...both David and Wes' singing leads me to worship! :D

This was just for fun and it made me laugh. They each have qualities of their own. Personally, I think David has the stronger voice. He'll give me goose bumps quicker than Wes but I can't say either one is better than the other. They each move me in their own way as they give glory to God with their singing. :)
