I surf here loads last summer in the end gotr so pissed with the waves we just started going to fresh out of say 20 time we come down say 4 was like this other times was like a fucking washing machine.
when the swells big the surfs good at broad haven an druidstone ive never seen newgale that good before tho pembrokeshires great for surfin tho whitesands is always to busy in the summer but in the winter its good
I love the surf at newgale, and yea sometimes you wont get a single other surfer even on a rly good day, but, ive heard that freshwater west is better than newgale on any day, never surfed there though
Freshwater west is a top place to surf with a great right coming off the reef and plenty of rights and lefts on the beach brake. Strong rips but well worth the trip. Gets a little mental with the parking there though!
Sounds pretty good, maybe ill try it next spring, or maybe on a calmer day, i dont want to try a new beach in rough weather, just incase, ya know. Hey isnt there a rock in the middle of the beach at extreme low tide? My mate was telling about it, might have been whitesands though
sometimes theres a better shape at whitesands but its usually a fair bit smaller!! When newgale doesn't close out its much better. Not full of local tossers either!

whitesands is the best. yes yes yes. yes, it is! apart from in the summer the lineup gets pretty crowded due to all the tourists!

yeah newgale's pretty good usually, waves like this are quite rare though. Fresh west's the best in pembs by far from what ive seen! :)

I would choose Whitesands everytime but just on the odd occasion you get the whole of Newgale beach to yourself! Pick the waves you want!
