I had an E69, then it fell in the pool so I got a USED E71 . the e71 is a great phone, just since I bought it used there was problems with charging it which I realized after, but its a really solid phone, WAY better then the e69 . I used to have a blackberry and I like this phone better actually. The trackpad is small but still much better than the ball that seemed to lock up alot on my blackberry. I carry this in my pocket and it is much thinner and easier to handle, as is the price.

@banderbad the processor for the nokia e73 is the same as e72.. the major difference is that nokia e73 is a tmobile branded USA phone. Everything else is the same except some design changes - which is the slightly curved and pointed buttons for nokia e73. There is nothing else significantly different. Once again, nokia e73 is USA tmobile branded nokia phone.

@christian4m well e-73 is the best phone with t-mobile atm with preinstaled t-mobile services, other than that i guess e73 is a little better for texting. There is no significant difference between e73 and e72 models. you wont be disapointed with either of these models. However i would chose e73 for some of its improvements and the later release date.

@scaremengaviation with 2 year service agreenment, yes. if you get it with even more plus on tmobile than no. if you want to get a phone without a data plan i would recomend this one :) the camera, games, fm radio, an exelent music player, wifi, and the battery which holds unbelievably long + the call quality with integrated noise cancelation makes this phone stand up in front of the other qwerty phones for the price. on ebay you can get this phone for 250 bucks if you want to save :)

I had to replace 3 Nokia E72s and 2 Nokia E55 because of the manufacturing problems with the silver frame on the edge of the phone's face. Also, there were problems with the MicroSD slot, namely, the Card supplied would get stuck in the device.

The redesign of the function buttons may have addressed some of the button problems I have experienced, namely, they would get stuck when pressed.

Surprisingly, no reviews ever report about the bad manufacturing quality of Nokia devices.

@gio10a10 this phone is definitely better. It's much more refined and professional looking (aka beautiful). It is a true smartphone, while the gravity touch is a "pseudo" smartphone. It has a much better camera, and clearer, louder speakers (I own a Nokia E72, the E73 is just the T-Mobile Version). It has an optical joystick which is very cool, and it has a much better business organizer (professionalized calendar, and contacts management).

Why would you compare a smart vs a dumb phone?

@gio10a10 I don't think I said anything about the internet. The Nokia E73 is a SMART phone. It will keep you more organized with your contacts and therefore probably make text messaging more convenient. It has a more functional and a better looking messaging program. ETC.

Just know this, Nokia E73 is a much better phone in all aspects (but I do not know about the gravity keyboard). I also know that I love the E73, and E72 keyboard.
