I just wish Cross Canadian Ragweed would record a studio version of this track the way it's played live...I like the live acoustic version much better than the studio version.
Once again, great job with the cover--it's one of my favorite songs at the moment!
onealdanny: In that live DVD, Cody Canada is actualy playing a Cadd9 (Dadd9, because of the capo)--not a C7. Instead of adding a C note on to the D chord, Canada adds an E note. Because of that E note, the chord becomes a Dadd9. Also, Canada doesn't play an E7 either--it's an Em7.
verses are mostly just C Em7.....chorus is Cadd9 G D Em7, then Cadd9 G D, then Cadd9 G D Em7, then Cadd9 G D G, then Cadd9 G D G again....and back to the verses...hope this helps
Nice! Sounded great, this song is what actually made me go out, get a guitar, and start learning to play. Good to see someone covering it! I think I'll give it a shot here real soon. Keep it up bro.
Great job on the cover!
