  • It applies perfectly to the 57 totalitarian apartheid islamic regimes and they are trying to create more, how many more will the free world tolerate?

  • I actually agree with all of you here. This is definitely one of my favorite episodes of all time - I think I'll share it :)

  • A true prophet, indeed. He knew our society was inevitably doomed and did his best to warn us all. But did society listen? Hardly, and now we're dearly paying for it. If there ever is a Judgment Day or Second Coming, I strongly suspect that Rod Serling will be one of the top Judges of all our deeds here on Earth, slightly behind Jesus Christ (not that I'm deeply religious, you see).

  • Love Rod Sterling. He was so ahead of his time with the twilight zone.

  • "Logic is an enemy and truth is a menace." This man saw the rise of the Tea Party from Way Back When. :D

  • Forget Edward and Jacob TEAM ROD!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Manateecutie That movie is for gays and dont even mention Rod Serling in the same sentence as those two gay movie idiots.

  • so it doesnt matter is im dissing them?

  • Serling was obviously a highly evolved human being, truly one of the greats in television history-capable of providing good entertainment and a sobering reminder that the real world, the place we live in, can be as horrific and even more terrifying than any of the posibilities encountered in the Twilight Zone; in any place, in any time- truly a realm of the 5th dimension-the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. the place we call Imagination.

  • one of the best episodes ever!

  • They should get William Shatner to host a Twilight Zone...or anybody who was in the old show.

  • Oh, wow! This was sampled in Pendulum's Axel Grinder!

  • there should be a whole new Twilight Zone series and Morgan Freeman should be the narrator.

  • @ShadowCrowX That is a good idea, but Morgan wouldn't measure up to Serling's stature in narrating.

  • Edward Rodman Serling, a man who not only fought to protect our country way of life in WWII, and took a fair amount of injury for it. But also fought censors twice as hard to make sure his vision was seen and heard, by all on this earth...

  • @SURFUR Amen Brother!

  • When TV was about the "Beaver" and "Donna Reed," he wanted to illuminate such as war, racism, anti-society, paranoia and other destructive elements that come from within us.

He was buried with full military honors. I hope television honors as well. All he wanted was to remembered as a writer.

    Well.... I remember....

--Eternal Respect for the Rod Almighty, Dane Youssef

  • This the best episode of all the Twilight zone series

  • Rod Serling is epic

  • Rod Serling Is the worlds greatest narrator.

  • Smoking on TV. awesome. deal with it you pussies

  • ahahaha - good stuff

  • It's funny how our nanny-state government health insurance would punish him for being a smoker. Ironic actually

  • @busterdog321 It also arguably killed this genius. So maybe not so awesome.

  • Rod Serling: The Coolest Man In History.

  • fuck.. ima get banned for watching this. Viacom is up youtubes ass. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!

  • Great quality!

    Rod Serling is frikin cool

  • This video by itself, is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. ...Not to mention the truest.

  • 'LOGIC IS AN ENEMY AND TRUTH IS A MENACE.'

He is right. Intellectuals like us are persecuted for being a menace by provoking the responsability of action through thinking.

  • this is really high quality video, good stuff.

  • The opening of "The Obsolete Man" (June 2, 1961)...

  • Thanks for posting this! Are You Surprised? Dr. Ron Paul (R-TX) 4 Prez 2008!

  • Even though I rather like your comment, I'm voting it down. There is no reason to politicize Rod Serling.

  • @mikelowry5

You do know The Twilight Zone was with a political Just like Star Trek was, Both Rod Serling and Gene Roddenberry knew that they could not make a show about social issues and have set in reality they both had set in scifi for them to be able to make there show.
