i just bought one, it is still in the box, is it hard to build??? because i usually only do rockets with C6-5, or E9-4, but they are small rockets that usually only take a day or two to make. a reply would be helpful =D

I will have to try that. In this particular case it turned out a few of the strings were broken so the chute was not functional. But great thought for cases that it is the problem
were the cords singed?? because i never have any problems unless the parachutes melt or something like that. How much recovery wadding did you put in the rocket
I was thinking of getting the mean machine too, but Im not too keen on the D and E engines. We do it for a laugh and the D and E engines are quite expensive. Could I use A-C engines with the mean machine or does the engine mount not accept them?
The enginge mount does not accept C engines. I am sure there are ways to modify the mount but I really dont think the C would have the power to get it very high. The C engines cost me $1.20 and D $1.75 E $3.50
i think you cant modify the engine mount but you can purchase an engine mount that does fit as far as i know they aren't too expensive...and you are correct about the power it is a fairly heavy rocket for a C..... also where do you get your engines mine cost about $10
It is an awesome rocket and they just came out with a new one that can used D or E engines. It seems like a lot of launches have late parachute ejections these days get the model. The 2nd one that wasnt edited out is the Executioner
Estes just came out with a new version of the mean machine that also takes E engines. I lost that one in a tree later that day. I have bought 3 replacements though
one time i had a rocket that went ballistic and nose dived all the way to the ground if someone had been standing there they would have been hurt i call these failures "lawn darts" it is scary
i hate the Swift when i launched mine it came back to earth in a butt dive it slammed into the ground and snapped the fins into pieces

you should put talcum powder on your parachute, makes it open every time.

I hate it when the rocket starts to take a nose dive before Ejection Charge. MAKES ME NERVOUS. Awesome Mean Machine, I'm thinking about getting one.
