  • "Remember this day men, for it will be yours for all time."

What a badass attitude. You get not only the contempt for the Persians, but the contempt for human life.

  • I love how after the arrows stop falling the ground is COMPLETELY covered, but theres only like 7 arrows on every shield.

  • TREAUSERS COME AND GET THEM = MOΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

  • ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ ΡΕ !

  • You had to say it. Fight in the shade!

    I get it! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • SPARTANS! WHAT IS YOUR PROFFESION?

See old friend, I brought more soldiers than you did.

    haha! :3

  • I brought more soldiers than you did <3

  • OMFG they have wicker shields were all doomed

  • westandbladefilms, you are right and wrong. At the battle of Thermopylae Pass (where this took place, the real occasion, not the movie), there were only only three-hundred Spartans. You are right in saying they were fighting with other people's help as well though.

  • LMAO lionidas should have been in 'NAM.!!! XD

    COME GET THEM!

  • lol that dude who threw the spear in the first battle shoulda been the one to throw it at the king

  • anyone want to chat

    wanting new friends 0S

  • Aw man, where's the rest?

  • I love all the movies you mentioned so I'm sorry to be the one to break this to you but Gladiator is NOT true. It's an amalgamation of several true figures and their stories (Spartacus, Cincinnatus & Narcissus.. who was Commodus' wrestling coach & the one to kill him, choking him to death in the bath). Unfortunately, very little in Gladiator is historically accurate. It's even worse with Braveheart. Almost nothing in that film is accurate other than the names of the people, places & battles.

  • And lastly, Saving Private Ryan is almost completely fiction. It is based on a few war stories from the civil war and WWII that the script writer Robert Rodat saw however it is fiction and merely uses WWII as a historical backdrop for the story.

But obviously the first 20 minutes of the movie (the Normandy beach landing) are based on historical fact.

  • troy is a true story tue and 300 is true because represents the epic time when persia envides greece so your comment is not necessary.

  • The Battle for Troy is a story...yes There was a civilization where Homer told the story of the battle for Troy, there was indeed a civilization on that spot...much like the story of Atlantis....there was an Atlantis that was lost in the atlantic...but it was not ruled by mermaids...and 300 takes dramatic license heavily...if they told the story correctly, you wouldn't root for anyone because the Spartans were dicks just like the persians...they're all movies meant to entertain...not teach.

  • woa sorry about that last comment. I was actually responding to pk3rk1ing45. I meant that 300 was in fact a true story.

  • I'm sorry, I accidentally fell asleep while I was reading your second comment.

  • ....ok

  • 300 was based on Frank Miller's comic book.

  • lol your a genius. Read the second thing I wrote. (i replied to myself)

  • kenster u are an idiot it is based on a true story but the spartans all fought instead of 300 the spartans fought alongside many other tribes to kill the persian noobs

  • NO you are an idiot. I was replying to a person a long time ago and for some reason the text went to the top instead of replying. (I meant to put a question mark) The person I was talking to thought it was just a comic book and I was trying to prove him wrong. (just read the reply I wrote to myself, you can't miss it)

  • it's nice to see the hearts soccer casuals in action the 300 against the wosrld .memories.csf#1

  • That's one of the best scenes in the movie. It always sends chills of delight down my spine.

    "I'm a potter."

    haha.. hilarious.

  • the movie 300 cannot be compared to the great movies Braveheart, and especially Gladiator!

  • then u should see my brave heart vs 300 movie

  • Braveheart, 300 and gladiator are basically the same film in different time periods. Although all 3 are classics

  • I strongly disagree. All three are period pieces about warriors and battles but the similarities end there.

  • If you like 30 0 you will love Breaveheart,Rock on
