  • LESS BACK PRESSURE ON A 4 STROKE IS BEST, for the simple headed think they know it all mechanics YOU ARE WRONG! Why then do we put headers on our race cars and have header dumps? 2 strokes need tuned back pressure

  • im gonna laugh when u burn up the rings

  • guys u could bolth be right but seeing what he has in his garage i think they got it covered

  • Sounds like you guys need to do some research on back pressure. No pipe will not hurt the engine granted it's tuned properly without a pipe(dunno why you would want to do that). Back pressure(BP).. depends on your intended use of an engine. High reving engines want next to no BP, hot gasses flow easier. Low reving engines, usualy colder, benifit from BP at lower RPM, The exhaust is small enough to where the gases flow constant and consistantly.

Damn this character limit - Go research it

  • even though no pipe will fuck it up you would be best tomake a 30 dollar straight pipe system then a1000$ motor

  • running with out a head pipe will make you run lean bc the lees backpressure more air is goin through you will have less low end power but better top end power you at least want a straight pipe to keep dirt and water out mainly water but with out the head pipe put your hand in fort of the air coming out it is all over the place with pipe it funnels out and gose through the still air better

  • actually there is more back prssure with no pipe because there is no flow. You wont realy burn anything up.

  • @beastyballbros haha how do u figure that, more back pressure, there is ALOT more flow

  • kinda need the pipe dude!!! at least a foot long or your valves are toast! BIG MONEY REPAIR! ive burnt out valves ant thoes sons of bitches are tough to repace in these 400s. been a while since then i dunno if its any easier now. might as well stay safe. put the pipe back on and you will be able to ride it for a long time. nice video anyhow.

  • good luck burning out your valves if u run anything with out a pipe it ruins all the back pressure and burns up ur valves well i guess try it and find out what kind of a project that is but im only 15 what would i know

  • u took out the baffles that happend to mine did sound like a v 8

  • for those of u who think this is vary loud.... well ur wrong it is just the noise echoing of the walls

  • sounds better like that leave it that way lol

  • wow... four strokes DO NEED backpressure!!! But if you jet them right you can subside the damages. However you can burn the valves up from a straight pipe, I know I did it. Floated 2 just yesterday actually from running a straight pipe on a old junk atv.. if you have too short of a pipe you can cause the engine to cool too quickly and damage other top end parts too.

  • your a dumb mother fucker they BOTH need back pressure.... have fun fucking your shit up....

  • lmfao go back to school you idoit. 4 stroke needs back pressure or your going to warp or burn out your exaust valve. ive done it many times before

  • no it wont you stupid mother fucker. it needs back pressure. go back to school you fucking amature

  • yes it does fucking dumbass you dont know shit get off this site!

  • its not so dangerous on a 4 stroke fucker

  • i gotta say thats the best thing for it....nat put the fuckin exhaust on or else you will lean ur engine out pretty quickly but yes it does sound pretty cool

  • that bitch sounds fuckin sweet!!

  • no im talking about getting the motor warmed up and then letting that nice cold air right back into the cylinder if the exhaust valve is open...u can warp a valve

  • Your an idiot!

  • if he wants to take off his exaust and blow up his nice atv...let him

  • he is not going to blow it up...depending on the length of the open pipe...Warp the valves. getting hot then letting cold air right up an open pipe will do the truck

  • dont you mean trick lol

  • u know what i mean...dumbass

  • Why are you rating this down... this guy is absolutely correct... the cold air coming in too quicky will damage your engine!! Believe it or not i dont care.. try and find out for yourself.
