My god it's been a long time but this does work on pc! Even on steam right now! But if you have trouble pausing, just alt+ tab to switch out of deus ex and come back in, then you can just continue doing the glitch.

Well, I kept playing through This cheat until I got 5000 points, then I completed the hack and checked how many praxis points were not available. There was only 1. Shouldn't there be more? I'm kinda lost, please help.

nevermind, didnt realize capturing the trace subroutine unlocks all datastores anyways.

you can also do it at any hack attempt, and get unlimited of any datastore. just unlock the datastores in the hack attempt and then carry on as stated without backing out of the hack. I actually just stumbled upon this glitch playing the game my first time (I picked the game up a little later)

Alright guys, for those who cannot access the pause menu for the PC version, simply do ALT TAB, then do it again, and it will take you to the pause menu, then you can load the game and do the same process as mentioned in video. Hope this helps! :)

you canot do this on wvery thing that can be hacked, some hacks wont allow you to capture the red thing cause its a one way line coming from it

You know the amount of exp you get on the hack is the total amount overall so if you do it to where you doubled 500 over and over you only get that amount

It works fine when I did it on my ps3. It also works again sometime way later in the game, that's what happened to me anyways (his computer locked again somehow, it could just b a coincidence or twas just random chance it happened like that). If u don't Want to sit ther for hours doing this just do it enuff for a few and then do everything else as much and as often as u can (hacking,selling,killing,explo­ring,side quests etc etc)

I just timed it on 2 runs through, to make it a time for 1000XP, & it came out at 1min 40secs. That was using nukes on the 4 nodes prior to the red level 3 at the end.

So, 1m 40s for 1000XP & you need around 300,000XP to fully upgrade everything.

You'd need to do this for just under 10 hours for that.

@Dodgy30 Apparently it's 61 Praxis to fully upgrade. 5,000XP per Praxis. You've definitely already used 2 to upgrade enough to be able to hack his computer, you should have had a couple from previous XP & mission rewards, then 2 from the LIMB clinic. So we'll call it 57 Praxis needed.

57 x 5k = 285k.

285 x 1min 40 is just shy of 8hrs.

A futuristic cyber-punk game that didnt have some actual hack or exploit would be kinda ironic. I know you can do some in game hacking but to actually have a cheat like this is somewhat practical. Good vid :P

According to IGN, you need approx 300,000 xp (60 praxis) to unlock everything. To get around 20,000 xp to 30,000 xp it will take half an hour, thanks to the lengthy loading times.
