Last time i did that I broke my windows(win7 64) and had to use the system recovery.

Mine doesn't say Apple Mobile Device USB Driver, it says Apple Recover (iBoot) USB Driver. I just downgraded my device from 4.0 to 3.1.2 and that is why I am doing this.

@xxXxTheNaturalxXxx When starting up you computer before it reaches windows hold F8. your pc should make alot of noise keep holding it until it gives you a list. then look at the top for safe mode and the hit enter. a whole bunch of stuff goes down your screen then windows should load up with the icon very big. log in and go to control panel and uninstall libusb

Just download it like you normally would if your computer is a 32-bit. This method is ONLY for 64-bit machines.

I keep getting to the step where it installs the software... ( at 4:12) and it only takes a second but when on the video the window saying to restart your computer pops up it isn't happening to me. It says "The software for this device is now installed, but may not work correctly.

No, if you get the runtime error 53, you fucked up ALL your drivers and when you reboot your mouse and keyboard wont work. This WILL work if you are very carefull, and ill tell EVERONE to make sure you make a restore point before doing this just in case (if you follow the directions exactly you shouldnt have a problem).
