Hey mister ! Don't get discouraged. Focus ! What do you do first? Get that simulator. Get the feel of the controls. Crash it. Then get back up there again. LEARN to get THE FEEL of the controls.
Then, learn how to become a good heli mechanic. And I mean, a GOOD one. Do it ! Then practice hovering. Go forward, then back to you. Practice turning sideways. Get the feel of it. Then crash it again. Then learn nose in. Then slap your wife. Make her buy you a Blade 400.
dude when u first took off u had no idea what you were doing. i did the same thing when i first earned to fly, o well i guess us men just like to learn things the hard way instead of taking peoples advice.
This guy did every thing wrong. 1 You don't leave the throtle stick at full throtle when applying pwer to the helicopter you check that the idle up switch is off and the trrotle stick ia at the lowest position.
Once you are out of that you'll have a much easier time. You will find you can sort of 'bounce' along your rotor wash as if it were a bubble or cushion to give you a little bit of additional lift.
Also, don't listen to folks that say practice by skimming on the ground. Figure on getting at least your full rotor diametre and a half above the ground so as to get out of the 'rotor wash' (the updraft of wind caused by the air bouncing off the ground from your rotor pushing it downward)
Training balls on a grass surface will only get your bird wrecked, also it affects the characteristics of the Blade CP's flight so much that when you take them off the adjustment to the increase in response can cause crashes.
don't go out of the box!(as I watch you sneer at me because I know that you know you want to go out of that damn box)-your right radd does want to make me puke, but his theory is good.
um hi, just posting again that my old account, miss2jeffers3is4evil, i dont use it anymore. I'm posting this on every one of my comments i ever made on my old account. So yea. Please don't bother to bug me about being an imposter, because I'm not....
great vid! That lil' thing is fast, gets away from you fast too... i can attest to this from my own experience. I'm still way too scared to even get close to my idle up switch.
just use some 5 min apoxy whitch u can get at eny local hobby stor and fix the dam thing your self!!! i do that all the time and im doing barol rolls and loops!! so far i have flown it seens christmas of 06 and i have only spent about $150 in repars with no previous rc experienc.
you guys need to read the manual...thier blades, not wings and never switch to idle-up from a start, always from a hover. Oh yeah...you need to learn to hover FIRST!! LOL but hopefully you will get the hang of it.
She right, you need a new frame. Put on the taining gear and practice close to the ground at first, the SIM will also help alot with the orientation and it will also train your brain to react and correct quickly.
That was my first heli i ever bought. Bad idea. Lol
MILLERS066 1 week ago
Did that about 50 times myself :). I don't crash much anymore but it does still happen occasionally! Keep it up, use the sim.
