I'm not sure about 2 strokes.. But my 400ex 4 stroke needed the whole new top end and gasket when it smoked like that.. =/

two stroke motors burn oil to lubricate the engine. thats why it smokes, four stroke motors have there own oil supply so it doesnt burn it. thats why in two strokes you never change the motor oil

pro-x pistons are crap, they are cast not forged like wisco.... you should change it out. the wisco is lighter as well i belive.

Im not running a Pro-X piston. Im actually using a Wossner piston which is a lot better than a Wiseco. But my cylinder is a Pro-X.
