It has been really sad to watch how the world view Islam as a religion that promotes terrorism. No, it's religion of peace. We can see how things changed in Mecca before and after the arrival of Islam. That's the absolute example of how Islam teach its believer. Could you clarify a couple things for me? Why does the Quran command that you condemn the disbelievers instead of praying for them (Quran 4:56)? And doesnt Quran 7:166 clearly state that any non-Muslim is a despicable ape? That conclusion only leaves one to realize that the closest nation, and the one currently at war, that is Israel, is considered an ape?

As a non-Muslim I have to say that I really don't think trying to find the TRUE meaning and interpretation of the Qoran is relevant to this discussion... I believe all religions and their holy books are more or less the same. What matters is how the majority of the religion's followers act, speak and think. The Although many things bothered me in the movie Fitna, the main issue that I agree with is that the mainstream voice of the Muslim world isn't heard!

Now, please let's think positively, it is not enough to just notice that muslims don't practice islam in the right way. The ones who know islam well (due to being well educated so they can go back to the reference, Quraan and Sonna) have the responsibility of calling people (muslims and non- muslims) to know islam in the right way. Second, those people do not do these actions because of their wrong interpretation to Qoran; they are fed up, either from losing one of their family members unfairly or just by witnessing oppression, so they try to interpret their religion in a way that gives them the right to take revenge by this way shown in the video.

Pretty much so. What I'm saying is that as a person who believes in Islam and cares about it state of affairs, I find fault in Islam as it is practiced, not just by the extremists, but by the mainstream. Closed-mindedness, stereotypes and prejudices with roots in culture, history and social development need to be addressed... Rather than the wrong-doings refuted, or claimed to be the beliefs/practices of a minority when they really aren't.

I replied: no; you did not complete the verse. the verse goes like that " O you who believe, do not observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) while intoxicated, so that you know what you are saying." .... This means do not pray while you are under the effect of drugs or alcohols.

He took those verses, not even the whole verse but part of it, out of context.

A very simple proof that you were mislead, is that we did not choose certain verses; Wilders chose those verses that he thought they are the worst in Qoran; and we showed that even these verses were not like what he was trying to show JUST "By Mentioning The Whole Verse And Some Verses After It", in order to show it in its REAL Context

Regarding your question, we believe that such muslims are those who live under oppression, raised with raising anger in side of them (like those in palestine, iraq...etc), after losing a lot of members from their families in wars, They start to lose control. Then they interpret their religion in a way that psychologically give them the right to take "revenge". What they're doing is wrong, and sinful. But believe me, that are not as many as you think.

Thank you for your nice comment. First of all, we are not scholars at all. We are ordinary teenage students. Each and every verse in the movie was actually followed by verses that explained it clearly. The Quran speaks for itself. In this video, we wanted to clarify that the kind of ppl who do such actions (like 9.11) do not do it because The Quran tells them to... it's against our religion.

Still I think you adress only the issue of the Koran verses. This issue is irrelevant to the main idea that the movie "Fitna" is about.

The main question/challenge for Muslims such as yourself is to understand why so many other muslims interperate the Koran wrongly? Why logical Muslem scholars such as yourself don't stand up to extremists that violate your religion? Why is your voice only heard in places radicals can't hear?
