Awesome car! Sad that MB didn't make the CLK63 coupe available in the US. As the previous owner of a 2003 CLK55 coupe, I would have loved to get the 63. FYI, If you can't afford a Benz, BMW, etc, what other performance choices do Europeans have?? my point is, if you don't have $55K plus to buy an M, AMG, RS, what do you drive in Europe? In America you can drive a 375HP Challenger, Charger, Camaro, Mustang, etc for as little as $32k new!!

So aside from being a car nut and doing lots of reading, I have plenty of hands on experience. Like I said, it's not all about HP and torque. For example, the 4 piston calipers and 13.2" rotors on the 550 just didn't resist

fade the way the twin sliding beasts and 15.5" rotors do on the 63. The AMG ABC retuning is superior. And the the aural aesthetics.. Good lord! The exhaust notes on the AMG cars is simply orgasmic.
