Ah man I remember the first time I fought Jhen and heard this theme play right when the Dragonator hit. Never had such a feeling since the first Lao Shan Lung I fought. You rock Capcom.

@EspadachinLagiacrus its the only monster hunter for wii, so thats not really a comparison, plus i thought it was pretty tough. especially the first time u fight barroth, barioth, and rathalos.
@ducksgomooful its always a challenge the first time becos if your new to the monsters then you dont what theyr attacks are or because of the gear you have, i played online right after i finished the first great jaggi kill on offline. And let me tell you it was waaay easier after i finished getting my jhen moran set (low rank), i didnt manage to get an earth dragon gem so i used a rathalos chest piece. i had my switch axe i think it was called 'rough edge' and was red, it was so easy.

@Firesttar yeah rathian's poison sweeping tail is hell annoying, especially when u hav no antiodes and u hav to waste alot of potion >.<
and yeah great jaggi is easy when you hav the more powerful weapons, those elementary weapons anyway
I like the royal claw+ (i fink it's called that) it's a sword and shield, it can deal wif alot of monsters based on land, even rathian/rathalos (through time lol)

@lukeakapokemad Morpheous Blade for me. haven't gotten a sleep SnS yet but I would assume you could get auto captures with it's stat. even without that bonus, the extra 10 seconds of unadulterated damage is a pretty good thing, and if you put them to sleep, you can take your time to prepare for another assault, or set an elaborate trap. man the things you can do with that Blade.
*Sigh* I remember around hte 10th day after release, me and some dudes were fighting jhen for the FIRST time, hardcore hunters on my friends list ofcourse who clearly played the psp games. When we used the dragonator for a second everyone litterally stopped, you had to just stop and type and tell someone ANYONE how epic it was and how amazing it felt to hear it!
yay, most epic music in the game, i looked for this forever, but i looked for jhen mohran theme after dragonator is used, but this is the same, so YAY
when i heard this in the MH3 credits i became so excited to finally hear my favorite monster hunter theme...this song truly describes Monster Hunter in a way words cant...it shows the freedom and strength of a true hunter's soul and brings it out to finally take down the troublesome wyvern...no weapon in Monster Hunter could match up to the power of this song itself...this song IS monster hunter and always will be...nothing else
An incredibly impressive theme. When I heard this on the credits I was like "meh", but when it began after striking Jhenny with the dragonator I got super pumped.

Man first time i heard this against the Lao shang Lung i was astonished and then while fighting the Jhen Moren i felt the same thrill. This is by far one of the best themes ever!!!

Not really. If this was on the PS3, like it was originally intended, it would have been epic. Nintendo can only put so much content on their discs, and their online capabilities with the Wii are slightly subpar. The PS3 would have had double the content on one of their discs, look at what they did with MHFU. Tons of content, tons of weapons, armors, etc.
However, I do like what they did with some of the old monsters, like Rathalos, Rathian and Diablos.
@Kantido It doesn't matter, because capcom pulled out of MH3 on PS3 because of prohibitive development costs
and FYI, the disc space doesn't matter much in terms of the game, it's not like they actually are going to use it all (even on wii, it only takes up ~3.4GB, not even filling a single layered disc
@Kantido It was originally intended to be on the Wii, and they said they 'might' make a version for the PS3, but never did because of how difficult Sony makes it to make games for their system. And the internet connection is fine, I personally have never been dropped while using MH3's online.
@Kantido Listen up! Sony created the Playstation with help from Nintendo, it was developed as a CD based add-on for the Super Nintendo, regardless to say that Nintendo cut funding after a similar experience with Phillips ( and i will not go into detail on how shitty CD-i was). So these console flame wars are irrelevant, Sony only has PS3 because Nintendo put interest into the company early on. That and the Wii WAS intended for a younger audience, thus the childish looking games.
@Kantido I agree with you, most of the people I know would get it on PS3 but they haven't because it's on the wii. It's a real shame, the controls are a bit clunky and it's a shame about the graphics, they're pretty much the same as the PSP, but I'd love to see what they can pull off with the PS3.
@soldier4670 The monsters are so huge that it doesn't matter. There's only so much you can do with polygonal graphics which don't even matter that much, and it's completely addictive. There's a reason why millions of people play Mh3, you spoiled child.

@soldier4670 I looked over the comments here and i can see that you aren't like a total jerk or anything. Was sort of expecting you to be but you seem like a level headed guy. I can see where you are coming from with your comments about the game. Not all the games look great, but a great game isn't just about looks. Think of it like an 8-track. You can't rewind it but if the album is good you don't need to. Monster hunter is a great game. Its tough, but survivable and short but, replay worthy.
@shadowlarkmoon yes it is replay worthy, and it's that replay value that makes you keep on playing, especially online, i get to meet other great hunters, and i dare i say, i role-play in this game a lot, its these type of games that make me feel rewarding when i finish a mission, making armor and weapons from the monsters you kill is just the best

when i heard this in the MH3 credits i became so excited to finally hear my favorite monster hunter theme...this song truly describes Monster Hunter in a way words cant...it shows the freedom and strength of a true hunter's soul and brings it out to finally take down the troublesome wyvern...no weapon in Monster Hunter could match up to the power of this song itself...this song IS monster hunter and always will be...nothing else

An incredibly impressive theme. When I heard this on the credits I was like "meh", but when it began after striking Jhenny with the dragonator I got super pumped.

Man first time i heard this against the Lao shang Lung i was astonished and then while fighting the Jhen Moren i felt the same thrill. This is by far one of the best themes ever!!!

@TekkenWolf I heard it while watching a youtube vid of Jhen. The guy hit the Dragonator and i was ready to jump out my seat I was like. "THEY ARE PLAYING THE SONG!!!!! GET THIS MOTHA F*CKA YYYEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!"
Then I thoughT I had screw the mood up for myself because I had not played it yet. But as soon as the dragonator was ready I was over at the button. I was like "Come on!! Come on!!! I have been waiting for this!!" HiT the button! Dragonator GO!! Jehn reels back ! CUE THE MUSIC! HELL YEAH!

Not really. If this was on the PS3, like it was originally intended, it would have been epic. Nintendo can only put so much content on their discs, and their online capabilities with the Wii are slightly subpar. The PS3 would have had double the content on one of their discs, look at what they did with MHFU. Tons of content, tons of weapons, armors, etc.
However, I do like what they did with some of the old monsters, like Rathalos, Rathian and Diablos.

@Kantido It doesn't matter, because capcom pulled out of MH3 on PS3 because of prohibitive development costs
and FYI, the disc space doesn't matter much in terms of the game, it's not like they actually are going to use it all (even on wii, it only takes up ~3.4GB, not even filling a single layered disc

@Kantido It was originally intended to be on the Wii, and they said they 'might' make a version for the PS3, but never did because of how difficult Sony makes it to make games for their system. And the internet connection is fine, I personally have never been dropped while using MH3's online.

@Kantido Listen up! Sony created the Playstation with help from Nintendo, it was developed as a CD based add-on for the Super Nintendo, regardless to say that Nintendo cut funding after a similar experience with Phillips ( and i will not go into detail on how shitty CD-i was). So these console flame wars are irrelevant, Sony only has PS3 because Nintendo put interest into the company early on. That and the Wii WAS intended for a younger audience, thus the childish looking games.

@Kantido I agree with you, most of the people I know would get it on PS3 but they haven't because it's on the wii. It's a real shame, the controls are a bit clunky and it's a shame about the graphics, they're pretty much the same as the PSP, but I'd love to see what they can pull off with the PS3.

@soldier4670 The monsters are so huge that it doesn't matter. There's only so much you can do with polygonal graphics which don't even matter that much, and it's completely addictive. There's a reason why millions of people play Mh3, you spoiled child.

@soldier4670 I looked over the comments here and i can see that you aren't like a total jerk or anything. Was sort of expecting you to be but you seem like a level headed guy. I can see where you are coming from with your comments about the game. Not all the games look great, but a great game isn't just about looks. Think of it like an 8-track. You can't rewind it but if the album is good you don't need to. Monster hunter is a great game. Its tough, but survivable and short but, replay worthy.

@shadowlarkmoon yes it is replay worthy, and it's that replay value that makes you keep on playing, especially online, i get to meet other great hunters, and i dare i say, i role-play in this game a lot, its these type of games that make me feel rewarding when i finish a mission, making armor and weapons from the monsters you kill is just the best

@soldier4670 I am physiologically incapable of playing without a classic controller. being left handed makes the Minus button almost unreachable, I wish Capcom and/or Nintendo would've foreseen this southpaw issue.
