The dungeon is the mechanic and wizard.

The Tinkerer is USUALLY found in underground caves after you've beaten the goblin army.

Dunno about finding him in dungeons, but there's always a chance i guess.

@dinosaur191 mechanic is the girl found inside of the dungeon who sells wires, or as i like to call it, redstone. goblin tinkerer is found randomly underground after beating goblin army. the wizard should be found underground after WoF i think.

And btw u said smth wrong: The tinkerer and the wizard CAN be found in the dungeon, but i met my tinkerer next to my hellovator and the wizard in a cave, and i think the mechanic can befound like this

The tinkerer spawns once you complete a goblin invasion, not from clearing the dungeon. It's the mechanic that spawns in the dungeon.

I've actually found Mimics on the overworld. There was one near my base at night (in the hallow), and I got a Philosophers Stone from it.

@Strife2347 You need to kill Mimic's from the underworld and they have a chance to drop it, however, you need to defeat the wall of flesh first before they will spawn
