The price swings are based on the law of supply and demand. In the Savings and Loan Scandals of 1987 to 1991 the East Coast was crashing but California Real Estate was not because of the Federal Govt putting in billions in Silicon Valley Aerospace spending. I am sure that in Asia it will depend on the Country, State and Economy.
