I served from 1980 to 84 last time while we were in Beruit , joined her in Chester at the shipyard, when we came home they played the Boys are Back in town

I am a plank owner. I must be old now. This ship was soooo new with all the latest gear. Now it is a 33 year old ship. The "old man" (shorty) was a jerk but the crew was cool. "Shorty's U-Haul..you call, we haul y'all,"
