I was there also. What a great Day for the NHL and the City of Buffalo in General. Even though our team lost in the end it was something ill remember for the rest of my life. I'm glad i got to share that day with my father watching the game he introduced me 2. Great day for the sport of hockey. Lets go Buffalo!

This was the expierence of a lifetime and it may not be exciting to you watching it on tv, but me and the other 73,000 other people who attended witnessed the best spectacle in sports history ending with a great finish, even though my sabres didnt win it was still the best time of my life. No matter what team u support this was great.

I am from connellsville,pa. I went to buffalo by myself on 01/01/08 to just be there. I did not have a ticket. I got tere at 0800 and was one of the first ones in the parking lot. Later in the day kdka interviewed me. About ten minutes after that a few pittsburgers came by and one just happened to have an extra ticket which I got for $40. I thought I got ripped off at first but the ticket was good and they were terrific seats. I just cant explain what a great time I had.

I thought NBC and the NHL took a heck of a gamble playing Peter Gabriel's music from 'The Last Temptation of Christ' (1:05 -2:30). It's strong music that went perfectly with the vignette.
