The video is about a system that works fine for ME as a man who works at home and who grows most of his own food in sunny Florida using a simple system that cost me nothing, that allows me to take a satisfying outdoor shower using 1 gallon of rainwater as I stand in a plastic tub that catches that water for reuse on plants. No where do I suggest that a "busy working man" adopt the method. I enjoy life and exploring positive options while conserving resources creatively.

Good idea about the mylar in strips. These efforts are not just about saving money but cutting water use, recycling discards, plus the sheer fun of working creatively with free materials at hand that had been headed for a landfill. So this is very realistic "Grumpy Madman".
@johnstarnes John I am all for waste not want not, recycling, etc. if it makes sense? Do you really see the average busy working man delaying his morning or evening shower until the afternoon when his 1 gallon bottle of water is warm in the sun? Do you see him going outside, bringing his one gallon of water inside then somehow rigging it up in his bathroom to shower with? This idea might work for a street person, or a desparate third world person, otherwise it is not realistic at all.
Cut the mylar into strips, then apply it. 1 gallons showers? Why not just get a black camping shower bag, and hang it in the sun? If this is what you are doing to take a shower, how do you afford a digital camera, or a computer for that matter? Not very practical, a whole lot of headaches and inconvenience for not much savings. There are many things a person could do if you don't mind living like your in the third world. Get realistic!
Geese @GrumpyMadman you make your rounds here on YouTube to cut everyone down. You are a piece of work and are probably the most intelligent man on Earth LOL
@TheSavvyTech I don't cut everyone down, I state my opinions to morons like you who don't think, and post videos of impractical, ridiculous ideas. I am far from a very intelligent man, but I am intelligent enough know the difference between something practical and worth doing, and something that is a waste of time.
@GrumpyMadman So... "GRUMPY", I see you are the typical loner that has to put everyone else down to make you look good... ah, NEWS FLASH... it doesn't work that way... I feel sorry for you. Many... and I do mean "MANY" of the videos people upload are for their own learning process and just share it with others.... Get a life!
