Here is a Play by Play...The new Knife edge waterfall to a snap roll with no airspeed to a dumb thumb inverted mistake to a correction to full throttle. Not mocking your friend, cause it sounds like somthing I have done =). Sorry for your loss!
looked as if he was still on full rudder all the way to the ground as it was actually curving for the split second the plane was in once piece one on the ground before becoming parted out
i had the same plane,,good design,,way too heavy,,if it were another brand like aeroworks,or h9 it would have not snapped out ,mine eventually broke in half mid air ,,good riddance
What happened there? Did it snap into that roll or did the pilot have a brain-fade and change his mind half-way through, thus delaying the input of the down elevator needed to get the nose up? Sad stuff man.

Looks like he held rudder while straight and level and it causes the snap. Too bad he didn't just neutralize the sticks while inverted.

He applied max rudder at the bottom and it snapped out on him. After the snap, there just wasn't enough room to recover.

@mford739 there was room. he just dident get on negative elevator soon enough.
