  • RONNIE HILTON. BRILLIANT.

  • Love Ronnie. It's a shame there are so few clips to view.

  • Absolutely brilliant.

  • Workrd with Ronnie in the early 80s as I was just starting out. He was sudh a nice person and had time for everybody.

Thanks for the help and now the memories

  • I saw Ronnie a couple of times in pantomime at Hull New Theatre as a child in the 70's, one of the greatest singing talents ever to come from the UK. Much admired much missed

  • A fabulous voice and personality to match. RIP Ronnie

  • A fabulous voice and personality to match. RIP Ronnie

  • A fine singer, I saw him in concert in Scarborough in the 70s he sang this one then, he was always spot on tune and you could hear every word he sang, plus a very pleasing voice and personality..... rest in peace Ronnie, you have left some fine recordings mate.

  • I first heard Ronnie sing on Jimmy Saville's 'Old Record Club' back in 1976 when he sang 'No Other Love' from 20 years previously. I immediately became a fan and went out and bought his LP's. A great voice who will never be forgotten. RIP Ronnie.

  • My grandad :D <3

  • one of the best voices of the fifties-he should not be forgotten!

  • a grat entertainer,saw him several times,and a wicked sense of humour too,God rest you soul,Ronnie.

  • When I was a young lad (CIRCA 1959) I used to stand outside the STAGE DOOR at the Futurist Theatre in Scarborough with a couple of girls who had a crush on Ronnie. One day he told to me I was a 'cheeky little sod' but gave me a job sending out his fan club postacrds which I stamped with his rubber stamp signature. For that I got 5 shillings. My only regret is I never again got to see him even though he was on radio in his latter years and I only wish I could have relived that memory

  • What a nice song. Great voice

  • I was never lucky enough to see Ronnie when he was alive, such a beautiful natural voice, I could listen all day. RIP Ronnie.

  • I was lucky enough as a youngster to see him at a nightclub in Jersey, called the windmill I think. Great voice

  • I was so pleased to see Ronnie on Youtube. I count myself very honored to have been a friend of his. The most warm, talented gentleman that I have every met. Ronnie gave me a great deal of encouragement in my early career - I went on to become the resident singer on the QE2 for many years - it was all down to you Ronnie! God Bless you always

  • This was on the Morcambe and Wise Show, series 5. I Have the DVD

  • I knew Ronnie, He came to our house on many ocasion. In Baker st (Garage) Hull just round the corner from the New Theater. He was a friend of my Dads

  • Thank you for resurecting this old favourite of mine. he's a natural with star quality

  • A brilliant singer from Kingston upon Hull in England. This is a very melancholic song: about moving on from one relationship to hope for the future. Ronnie makes a sad song sparkle!

  • Great to see Ronnie, I worked with Ronnie many times as a young comic. He was a great pro and always had helping coments for new comers brilliant!

  • Amazing to find this. I discovered it last year but it disappeared. This is especially poignant for me - as this actual performance was the very first thing I ever watched in Colour on my late Uncle's new TV!! Thanks for the memory.

  • brilliant
