  • Anyone notice that in the shot where Gordon and Toby pass each other, one of them has Edward's whistle?

  • I had never noticed any of these except for James Gordon and Henry 3:15 I think the right one is better than the left

  • I prefer the one on the left.

  • sooo what is different. the shots?

  • Notice that 3:48, the fade effect is gone missing on the left side.

  • You forgot a change When bill and ben are talking to thomas about Hector Bens eyes move in a different direction

  • How did you do the split screen?

  • Nice.

  • That's odd. Seems as though some scenes in S11 were filmed in Standard Def....

  • For all- Left looks like standard definition, right is alleged "(Orangey) HQ"

Interesting spots there... I'd never had noticed really

  • Splendid Video.I like the 10 minute versions so much better :)

  • The one on the left is SOOOOO much better!

  • I never knew what was the point of re-filming some parts of the scenes of certain episodes... Also I remember that there was also a scene in Hector the Horrid where we see Bill and Ben shunting Hector which was different, Ben's eyes looking in the slightly different direction, but that's just me...

  • I personally like all the shots on the left side so much better.

  • now this is pretty cool ;)

  • I remember these very well. I don't understand why these extra shots were done though.

Also, wasn't there another bit at the beginning of 'Don't Be Silly Billy'? I remember Emily stopped at the station on one scene and she went past on the extra shot.

  • 0:42-048, I have that clip Version but US naration, on the "Lets Grow: Lend A Helping Hand" DVD (HIT Favorites).

  • Ah yes, when I got Thomas Und Das Ramschiff DVD, The scene at 3:17 was different from the TV Version as I noticed.

  • One thing about the newer series of Thomas there is a lot of one off locomotive that you don't see age.

  • I remember Chris posted a version of 'Hector the Horrid' with those deleted scenes. That shot of Thomas shunting the trucks backwards was the version used in 'Thomas You're the Leader', wasn't it?

Interesting video. I hadn't noticed the others before.

  • You could have used my Nick Jr copies, I would have lent them to you.

But if I buy the Series 11 set, I'll also have both versions!

  • @DowdsyProductions1 I would have used the Nick. Jr versions, however, they don't have see through watermarks, where as the US ones do.

  • @TheTopHatts Oh yes, that is true.

  • 4:10 was the main one I was aware of. It's pretty obvious it's been flipped if you're familiar with basic layout of Tidmouth Sheds. Good to see they corrected it for the DVD release.

Had no idea about the others shown in this video, though. It's fascinating to compare some of the minute differences between shots.

  • Wow, never knew about the different shots! Interesting vid!

  • Wow!! I never knew.
