lol this is honestly the worst video i have ever watched... you guys have no idea what anything is :p "they got this nice rubber thing here to stop it from movin around and bouncing:p" its called a rubber grommet :) but nice job guys!!
I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee. I bought a set of Navigator NV-120 auxiliary lights. I know they aren't the greatest but they will do for my needs. Anyway. I did not get a relay with them. Do i need one to install them? If so, where can i get one?
can you post a video of how the bush guard is installed on the bronco so i can physically see how its on cuz i think that truck will have the same set up as my truck i dont know how to get around my crome bumper i dont want to cut big holes in it and i have a 92 ford f350 i have a video of it if that helps just check my channel and i have no clue what bar to get or how to install thanks
While I do zip-tie and twist-tie my wires, I also cut, strip, and re-connect wires to make them the proper length, with enough play to re-adjust, change bulbs or what not. Electrical tape and heat shrink tubes are awesome!
i noticed at 4:58 someone opens the back door so you can get out. I have a 95 ford explorer and my back doors wont open from the inside and the back doors are unlocked and the child safty lock is off can anyone help?
@allthegoodtimes The truck had a plow on it so there is 2 holes from where the hydrolic lines were. But you can typically find a hole somewhere to feed the wires through without having to drill holes.
@volksjager8 I got the push bar at a local junkyard, I happened to spot it while I was looking for a rear bumper. But one thing to note is that it is only good for a light mount or looks sense that year bronco the front bumper flexes a lot and the push bar mounts to the bumper.
This video is lacking. WHERE and HOW dow you install the relay and what does it do? Did you use any FUSES? how did you get your wire from the engine compartment to the CAB??? Did you even mount the swicth??? Come ON!
Facts that would help the off highway enthusiast who installs auxiliary lights on their vehicles. @ 2:20-2:28, here in the state of CA, at least, off road light covers are required by law while driving on a pubic highway as defined in section #24411 of the California Vehicle Code but only if the lights are mounted above 42".
Informative video I must add, good job on the editing too, I like.
@TheXJthatCould cherokee=xj not cherokee xj, you could say jeep cherokee or jeep xj but cherokee xj is re dundant. Go joing cherokeeforum . com learn something and just know racks and roof lights are over rated.
hey im ordering two of these kits. therfor four lights to put on the backrack of my f150. i want all four to come on with once switch. can i just tap the other two into one of the kits harness
im in the process of doing my own weekend wireing job on my bronco. not so simple but those looked good. im putting 2 daylighters and 2 150w floods on a roof rack. looks bad ass. nice job on yours though. keep 4X4'in
@youdragon You can go to any Pep Boys, Advance Auto Parts or maybe try another Autozone to get them. You can also find many places to by them off the internet.
it depends on if you will be using the lights all the tome or ocasionlly. Since these were wired through the head lights they are already through a relay.
i think what they did is used the 12v from the headlights then put that through the switch which turned the relay on that way you cant leave the off road lights on on accident and the line going directly to the battery was for the relay. and i wouldn't just twist wires together either thats just a problem waiting to happen, maybe thats the plan next week there going to show us how to trouble shoot and repair bad wiring
Cool video i want some extra offroad lights for my truck but i dont know if i want a spotlight fog light or driving light? what should i get.. oh and i subscribed:D
If the lights were going on a brush guard, then off-road lights or driving lights. You could go with fog lights if you don't have them already. It depens on what you will probably use the most.

pretty good instructional guys. Question, when you buy the lights to they come with their own manual?

Yes, I would think that almost every type of brand lights you by that are new in the box would come with their own manual on how to install them.
