I'm not bashing the movie for those who liked it. Obviously other people on here enjoyed it. I just found it predictable. There were other movies around that time that did the same thing, "Skeleton Key," "Matchstick Men," "What lies beneath." This one came at the end of that 'style' of movie making. I think it was really cool and very well done in '95 with "The Usual Suspects" and "Seven". By 2005 it had grown stale IMO.

I saw this in the theaters when it first came out. A lot of expensive camera shots, great actors but not much to it. I knew the ending the first 5 mins in. Unfortunietly once you figure out that the dad is "Charlie" there is no other plot angle to keep you interested in the story, after that it's just a matter of him getting found out. We all know that comes in the last half of the 3rd act. The story is just okay. Dekota is awesome though. (As always. Miss future Oscar contender).
