Was the cop sited for risking all those lives? Really stupid and careless driving on the cop's part. I don't know how they can show this video in court and not reprimand the officer for driving so dangerously. This only reinforces the double standard.

Speed limits are set to protect lives because the limit is belived to be what no human can safely manuver a vehicle of any type around - However to make some quick revenue for the city and taxes you will never see the police and gov. are allowed to break these limits, swerve all over the road lane split ect.
Tapil > "..limit is belived to be what no human can safely manuver a vehicle.."
No, speed limits are based on road conditions, number of vehicles, potential interaction with other vehicles, average driver skills, average vehicle design, & other factors.
> "..police and gov. are allowed to break these limits.."
Unlike private vehicles, police vehicles are painted bright, contrasty, colors with additional lights & sirens to warn other drivers of the potential danger posed by their speed.
You just agreed with me, by saying they are set due to road conditions and number of vehicles - dont you think that if people were able to dirve faster there they would?
Stewartx5 >"Unlike private vehicles, police vehicles are painted bright, contrasty, colors with additional lights"
So then a neon green car coverd in neon lights should be allowed to drive down the road? id see him LONG before i see a UNMARKED POLICE CAR which is colord just like anyother private vehicle
No, I didn't. I mentioned several factors while you focused on only two. There are others, such as average driver reaction times & accident statistics of that roadway. Speed limits exist for valid reasons, which is why they exist throughout the world.
> ".. like anyother private vehicle"
Unmarked patrol cars rely on stealth to catch speeders, thus don't routinely engage in the high speed pursuits. There are exceptions, but not as a rule.
No your not... at least your man enough to admit your error...hey I have seen alot worse... Rock on man, hope your friend it made it out of that one okay!
thats oshkosh...just north.... you can see the Jackson St Exit, that is not Appleton or north of it by a long shot...too few exits hit... Plus Oshkosh is Southwest of Appleton. WAYY too open on the sides to be appleton in terms of development....
Shows how well you know the city. He gets pulled over just past the HWY 15 exit. Which, btw, is just north of appleton. Oshkosh is west of appleton. And the opposite direction that he was heading.
Thats an automatic 6 mos dl suspension in pa where i live..ive got 2 of them and beat one but im scared about the other one.
