  • Awesome! I can't wait to get my new pancreas! If they perfect this, we can say a long coming and grateful bye-bye to type 1 diabetes.

  • @nexgensound And that hart thing ... That did it with a human hart a few weeks ago. So that's cool

  • They already can grow skin back using your stem cells. And I mean pretty fast. Like a long weekend fast. They did it with burn victims. And though they haven't done this with organs they can theoretically.

  • I'd get new lungs. Mine are asthmatic and fluidy. lol

  • No need to worry about your liver. As long as about 1/3 of it is still healthy, it grows back! =D

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Not the red shirt!

  • The liver can already grow itself back. If theres a piece missing that is. If its f*cked up or all gone then you will need a new one.

  • ya we can regrow intire bodys and transplant our brains.

  • This video just made my day. Nothing like some Star trek references to cheer a gal up. :)

  • 90s Scifi films often made use of tablet pcs. And now you have things like the iPad.

  • Soooo..... it's like Rejuvenation from Okami?

  • The brain will probably be a problem sense it holds memories, personality and skills however every other organ could be grown back for example the heart pumps blood and every other heart does the same job so it would be like a having the same heart just a bit newer.

  • i'm the 9111:th viewer

  • Woot for red shirt!

  • so can they grow my ex a heart?

  • @nathanielhansen Only through stem cells.

  • is that a William Shatner impression or Jim Carrey :)

  • Yea! Good news for those with diabetes like me and some of my friends!

  • this is 1 of my fav episodes so far.

  • hmm the nail regrows more often, now if i cut off a portion of my penis...

    MORE ORGASMS!!!

  • @Shad0vvTheHedgeh0g or just boners like every hour lol

  • Hm, if the fingernail grows faster than normal, does that theoretically mean that a regrown liver would process things quicker?

  • Do you already have a video about stem cells?

  • Hey. first i would like to say: I love the show:)

About the finger growing back, you said after 4 months he had his fingerprint back. Do you know if this was the same fingerprint as the one he had befor? Please answer if you have the time :)

Im sorry about the horrible gramma and spelling... Thanks again for this awsome show :)

  • Growing bones? Oddly enough, that reminds me of an episode of Tim And Eric Awesome Show Great Job...

  • what about people that are missing there arms would they be able to grow back the arm plus the hand? how would that work?

  • @IDontDoDrumCovers umm... hands are attached to arms. they grow together.

  • There is new research now showing that with an injection, it removes (only short term) the part of our body that stops us from just continually expanding. When done correctly, the body will basically re-enter development state, where cells will realize what isn't done correctly, and regrow. So in theory, you get this injection, your body realizes it is missing and arm, and starts to regrow it just like a baby grows an arm. It has to do with how our bodies kill cancer cells, really cool stuff.

  • lol watched this right after seeing "The Spirit" for the first time. lol

  • Just imagine, once all of these break throughs are done, the elite people of the world wont need all the sheeple to help them prepare for the great culling. They will share all the life extending technology amongst themselves. I mean you think they really want to allow 7 trillion people to live to over 100 years old, and their offspring... we would reach 25 trillion in a century. The average person will never see some of the things they can really do, after all they are euginisists

  • I like this one very much!

  • HULK SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SWEET

  • yea....even if you could regenerate your brain though it would pretty much leave you brain dead.

(i mean it's like destroying a hard-drive and fixing it with new parts...the old data just won't be there anymore)

  • @ZillasElite you wouldnt be brain dead but you would have the same intelligence as a new born baby

  • @ZillasElite i know but couldn't we just make a back up or save it to disk or something the mind can read i mean we can store cells can we i think the brain cells have the "info".

  • @animefreak873 well, hypothetically...yes.

However the backup would be an earlier time, so whatever happened up to the point of where you lost parts of your brain would be gone.

Plus it might just be way beyond us at the moment, cause a simple movie is 700megabytes.

Memories are more then just still pictures their abstract and almost random. so to store all our memories fully intact onto a hard drive without losing any of it (Which most of it is already dormant) would require massive space.

  • @ZillasElite and to make matters worse, the required technology in order to convert memory into data would be mind numbingly hard to make. If even possible.

  • @ZillasElite yes but our brains are like computers and we mankind made computers so computers are like our minds so if computers can make .txt to .pdf i think maybe we can make .mem to .brain you know it sounds impossible but maybe in 1,000 years maybe 2,000 years we can achieve that like i said only time will tell.

  • @animefreak873 ...um, I did say that hypothetically it was possible,

But it'd be a lot more complex then just .mem to .brain.

The types are completely different, it'd be like trying to turn a gold fish into a cat fish. not exactly "impossible" in fact, it's extremely doable. But the process at which that would need to be done the technology required as well as the time would take YEARS.

  • @ZillasElite o i see only time will tell then.=)

  • @ZillasElite actually when you remember something, its not stored in your brain, but your brain recreates the events, and every single time something minimal changes, so you most dear memories, might be fake.

  • @ZillasElite or you could be simply be regenerated with a brain of a genius...I'm not entirely sure how that would work >.>

  • poor red shirts never make it

  • After making the effects much faster, alot of people going to buy regeneration products and replacement organs, then most of those people will buy alcoholic beverages and go drunk everyday.

    It's just inevitable.

P.S. Then some of those people die before they even use the regeneration stuff.

  • lol i got that same cell.

  • Awesome video. These dudes make some great videos.

  • The replacing any organ by growing a new one reminds me of the movie 'the island'.

  • Well played on Crewman Red Shirt.

  • Oh man... loved the kirk impression. And great topic!

  • Seriously that is a tiny bit creapy yet very cool. but then like say i'm my eyes are bad, i lose one, grow it back will it hold the same genetic defect i previously had and i'll have to change them for ever... what if it never stops growing :S

  • lol

I wondered the same thing. eeekkk!

  • @bevscorner Well he said the fingernail grows fast. He didn't say the finger is still growing so you're prolly safe

  • Dude that's awesome! I want to start a human farm. Where do I sign up?

  • That start was so HILLARIOUS! Thanks once again! made me laugh! best youtube show ever

  • As amazing as this is, we have such an overpopulation problem as it is... is this really a good idea?

  • Using that logic, is medicine even a good idea?

  • Well, I guess I put it wrong. Maybe growing organs/bones isn't bad, but instead we should limit how many kids you can have to control the population problem.

  • what do you mean population problem? There is endless and endless of areas on this earth not populated by humans. Lots of space still ^^

  • You need land to grow food, and animals have to live somewhere. The requirements of every person born today displace the needs of some animal somewhere. There really isn't any land that isn't already being utilized.

  • How isn't there a population problem when so many countries are in 3rd world status, so many people with out jobs, food shelter, medical care etc. A population problem is about more than just space available. We're running out of fresh water, oil, and space to put our waste.

  • they are already doing that in china... they are killing off people's second child....so if you have a second one by accident they gonna kill it

  • Some argue that modern medicine has allowed people who would have normally died to reproduce, thus weakening the genetic pool. Of course, that won't be a problem once we are able to alter DNA as we please.

  • LOL! Yall are good.
