I'm glad I'm not in this whole emotional turmoil thing most viewers got into/. I've been pretty angry at Sam for betraying Dean this way the whole season, so right now I don't even really care all that much if Dean has to kill Sam. Especially since they can never go back to the way they were... . And it would make for a better ending to the series. More emotionally challenging.
PS: I think that it's Ruby dying in the final. Or Lilith. Probably Lilith and then Sam becomes the next big evil.
