I read somewhere that they asked bruce lee to slow down during the fight scenes because the film equipment couldn't capture the full sequences of his motions.

@CommandAndCommentary yes bruce had to slow down cuz he was to fast for the camera. Then it would just look to sloppy and the opponent had a hard time acting getting hit..cuz they couldnt time he kick and punch combinations. So he slowed down...Still you see great technique and skill. Kato Rocks!

Back in the day there was a Chinese law (underground law) that kung fu was not to be taught to Caucasians or anyother non-asians. Bruce Lee was threatened with death if he continued to teach non-asians. He invented his own style of martial arts to get around the Chinese laws. Today we have martial arts studios everywhere, this would not have happened without Bruce Lee. Up until Bruce Lee no non asians were taught. Many maritial arts experts still think he is best martial aritist in world.

They did the right thing by hiring Carradine for Kung Fu. Caine was supposed to be a half-breed; Bruce does not look the part. .
