  • @gaijin71 uhhh no, he died in april of 1994.

  • Blessid will always be one of my favorite bands. They have made incredible, soulful and meaningful music that just gets "into you". They have a lot to be proud of.

  • Ummmm....Kurt Cobain died in 1993.

  • Great band!

  • The deep vocal chords is not always true.It all about where you come from and what accent you have. For instance Black men who lives in a NYC sounds completely different than a black men from south carolina and even more completely than a man from London.

  • SHE LIKES ME FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great band. My band opened for them at The Chance in poughkeepsie ny. Great guys.

  • They ARE...WERE great

    I love these guys

  • good stuff...thanks for posting

  • Being in the music business practically all my life, I have to say he hit the nail on the head. Unless some freak occurrence happens, you really need some major money behind a production to push it into "hit" status.

  • I wish they'd play more dates! I didn't even know they played'd Indianapolis! Drat!

  • Tony Clark! He's my buddy, just realized he was in this band. :)

  • @caesarmanson lolz

  • my daddys the lead singer (: looovee him.

  • my best friends dad mangages them now and they r good i just saw them in Indy

  • my favorite song is brother my brother

  • @urfboundlovr

    moi aussi

  • @urfboundlovr Pokemon ;) It's my favourite too.

  • im from chicago and they are one of my favorite bands!

  • im in Taylor, Texas and i like them a little

  • North Carolina here, and I LOVE BUOS!!!

  • i know who they are and i'm from Utah

  • I'm from Utah and i love them. especially the song Walking Off the Buzz. Awesome song

  • im from australia and there r alot of people over here that love blissed union of souls

  • I LOVE BLESSID UNION. Do a lot of people outside of ohio actually know who they are? I moved from Cincinnati to Florida and no one here has heard of them DARNIT.

  • Ok, so probably people here would hate me for saying this, but Eliot's voice does sound a lot like Nick Carter's voice, only a lot more pulished and cleaner.

The first time I heard "Light in Your Eyes" it was because someone uploaded it as a Nick Carter song, and I totally bought it!

  • I am broke right now and have been since I can remember but I've never turned by back to ugly walks, sofas, and crack houses. Couldn't they have found better places to interview them? I love them so much though. They were one of those bands that makes you think your the only one who likes them so you dont make big fuss about them to your friends. Then one day your realize you miss them so, you search for them on you tube and this is what you find. Heaven! Thanks for posting.

  • I luv this band!! that's soo cool! they are from ohio and so am I!! woohoo!!

  • It looks like the group is split into 2 different groups now. Jeff and Eliot are not together anymore. Does anyone know why?

  • galing ng blessid union of souls

  • My post was in response to

Wow the lead singer of Blessed Union of Souls doesn't sound black, that was suprising.

..seems like when you hit "reply" to reply to someone else's comment, what you type goes directly to the top. Or, is that just me???

  • I can honestly say that these guys are my favorite band.

  • I love these guys, they played the song "Brother my Brother" in Pokemon: The First Movie.

  • I luv this band...they r so kwl!

  • Wow the lead singer of Blessed Union of Souls doesn't sound black, that was suprising

  • Check out the lyrics for "I Believe" - it'll all make sense! ;)

  • ........true my friend......

  • i didnt know he was black until i heard that song "he'll see me as a person, not just a black man"

  • yyah.. mee too ,,, i never thought the lead singer is black ,, haha surprising. .

  • How is a "black" person supposed to sound?

  • Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Lenny Kravitz and the vast majority of vocal traits exibited by Black singers. It isn't a dig, just a commonality.

  • @NextVariation usually they sing with a more soulful voice with more bass in it

  • @NextVariation Actually, people of African descent tend to have thicker vocal chords which creates a fuller sounding voice (air can pass through faster). It's the same way people of any given ancestry have certain traits: i.e. an Irish person with red hair, a Swedish person with blond hair, an Italian person with brown eyes, etc.

  • @NextVariation Like a human.

  • @lunatangosc I agree :) I wish people would just let the race stuff go. The human race is the only race anywho haha

  • @NextVariation Like a black person of course!

  • @NextVariation Not the same way a black person imitates a "white" person sounding.

  • @NextVariation like a human, I guess

  • hahahahah I was just talkin about that same thing!!! But their a kick ass band indeed!

  • @coolspot619 WHAT THE FUCK!?

  • live next door to one of their guitarsts

  • sorry i don't agree. iron maiden is the best music ever! even if its not your style, nothing compares :)

  • hilarious.

  • lol thx. Sorry im a bit obsessed! ttyl Tracy

  • The music from 1994-2001 was of the best music around. It was a cross between soft rock and pop/adult contemporary music.

You name it, the Gin Blossoms, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox 20, Blessed Union Of Souls, Semisonic, Deep Blue Somthing, Shawn Colvin, Sarah McClachlan, etc...

  • This is pretty well made but the narrator's voice really bugs me. It sounds like a fake/wannabe host voice.

  • Keep it up guys....

  • Watch my version of this vid. CLick my name

  • no...

  • My favorite song of theirs is 'Brother, my brother'

    <3

  • she likes me for me..not because..

    miss them so much!!

  • Music from 95-97 was the best ever!!!Post grunge and pre boyband...there were sparks

  • love this band

  • God I miss these guys!

One of the best and underrated bands!

  • God they are amazing....I am 43 but remember these guys as one of the most amazing groups of the 80's...WOW WHAT HAPPENED.......I believe in love....thats what we need to believe in

  • your an idiot

  • yeah...the fact that you can ever get it with just one hit is a wonder itself...

  • if anyone has i still believe in love please pm me.

  • If You ever get a chance to see these Guys live DON'T MISS IT!! They are super talented..

  • they are so good they should have deserved more.

  • BUOS is my favorite band. I hope they put out their next CD soon.

  • This band only has two originals left! They exist in the has been category! If Jeff, Eddie and CP Roth were there...Now, That was a band

  • BUOS IS one of the BEST bands I've ever seen play live. I would travel anywhere in the world to see them play if I had the means to do it. I can't believe it has been since 1995 that I've liked one band constantly. I hope to see you all play again in my area SOON! Take Care, PEACE & LOVE.

  • I LOVE YOU.

  • the only band who really showed the meaning of ethnic harmony. They're unique. One of the best!!!

  • nice to have them back i really liked their music

  • they are so good.

i have this song and like it a lot. as far as their personal lives are concerned i have not connected with them in such a long time so i can't comment on that. but they are really cool guys from what i can remember. i also like the song Nora. their is a really nice sounding version of nora being played for a duet on the show "So You Think You Can Dance". it's a sad song, but with a lot of beauty in the lyrics although the subject matter is sad, and the music is really good.

  • Tony Clark's mother was found dead in her home October, 2006. Her house is in a shambles--overgrown trees, dead plants on the porch and infested with vermin and bugs, trash all over the porch and NO ONE has come to since November to see about it. I guess he's too busy with the band to tend to his mother's affairs.

  • Where can i download " I Still Believe In Love" ?

  • i can send you it, give me your addy thru PM

  • WOOT!
