His preaching here I believe is based on the book, The Keys to Spiritual Growth (1991 Revell edition revised & expanded) 2001 by Crossway books. I'm not sure on his age here, but I would guess this is from the late 1970's. His teaching style has changed a bit since then but his older stuff is quite good as well.
