@stevey2020 Hi, the view from Totterdown lower field is still pretty good as many of the planes display direcly overhead. This was shot from nealy the bottom row of tents on the lower field. The only problem is you can't see the runway, but it's only a minute's walk up the hill to get a better view. F22 is back this year, so it should be a great show :o)
The one with the video on the tripod was my sister in law. We left on Saturday night after they made the announcement that Sundays show was cancelled. Was gutted that we didn't get to see the Vulcan, but I've had a look at you other videos and can see that you went to Waddington the week before and saw it.
No that wasn't us, we don't have any kids (yet). We were sort of at the end of the row of tents in front of yours but lower down the slope. I did see the Vulcan at Waddington and it was great to see again although the display seemed a lot quieter than it did when I saw it as a kid (or maybe I'm going deaf!). Hopefully the Vulcan team will pick up some sponsorship at Farnborough to keep it flying for next year.
Yes I have to say seeing the F22 nearly made up for the show being cancelled. We were on the lower end of what I think was the second field. Me and my Wife got there Thursday night and were supposed to stay til Sunday but when the show was cancelled we decided to leave Saturday morning before the field got too churned up.
We got there friday lunchtime, but sister in law and brother in law got there Thursday also. From the positioning of your camera shots I think it may well have been the same field. We were near the bottom as well, near to the open space, Don't know if you noticed a load of people playing Frisbee on Friday night, with a frisbee that lit up. well that was us lot.
Yep, I remember that frisbee ;o) We were almost next door to you, in front of your tent, to the right (not the ones who spent most of the time getting drunk). I remember one of your group was doing quite a lot of filming with a decent looking camera set-up, so I hope you got some good videos.
i will hopefully be staying at totterdown this year but going to get the last pitches..what are the views like in the bottom field??

Did you have 2 children with you as well, called Aidan and Tara, who came and joined in the game?

It's a good job that those that were there for Friday managed to see some planes flying.
