WOW WOW WOW!!! This is embarrassing... it really is!!! LOL!!! I'm actually one of the dancers in this video. All I can do is laugh. I come from a great dance line in high school. I didn't go away to an HBCU because I got a better deal to go to WSU. But I missed dancing in a marching band so I auditioned for "Golden Glamour" with high hopes. Such an experience. Yes this group was very new with little experience. There were really about 2 or 3 of us that had majorette or dance line experience.

Your right however in the North when they refer to majorettes the mean "dance line". Most of the majorettes in the detroit area stopped using batons in the late 90's, but people still referred to them as majorettes -v- dance line cause they dont know any better....
