@rvhelm I'm not sure why you removed your comment, anyways, I will still answer your question. Obviously, if the umbrellas are in the front of the store when it rains, then people can walk right in, grab what they need, and then leave. If they are put in the back, people walking in will have to search around for them and other tempting items (such as food, etc.) are very likely to end up in the shopping cart as well.
