No apology required. This video fills my heart with love and remembrance of the great Phil Lynott. A classic song by a legendary artist who left us all too soon.
I wasnt even born when Phil died, but he is 1 of few people in life I feel so close to when it comes to music,he is up there with the Greats,it is just so sad we cant see the end of what he started......RIP Phil Xxxxxxxx
Too bad they died too young. Hendrix would have loved Lynott, and I am sure Lynott also had some great songs left in him when he passed. I hope that people will listen to musicians like Hendrix, Lynott and Moore for much longer than they were able to hear themselves, and that they will inspire people who are suffering to keep fighting.
How I wish the IRISH♣ROCK♣LEGEND PHIL♣LYNOTT could stroll down Grafton St again, just like back then, because the OLD TOWN of DUBLIN still LOVES YOU. Sadly & sorely MISSED BY ALL YOUR FANS at home in Dublin and all around the globe. Remembering you especially today Phil - GOD BLESS YOU PHIL, LOVE YOU AND WE ALWAYS WILL! xxx
p.s. Rock♣Legend♣Phil♣Lynott sure was one cOOl lOOking rock star - he even had the lOOk of a legend!!!

im a massive Lizzy fan but this video of Philo still gets me everytime. who cares if the video was a bit suspect. all 80's videos were like that. its the music and lyrics that count. Philos first major hit after Lizzy. still cry when i see him walk down the pier at the end looking very vunerable :/ who knew one of the greatest songwriters/muscicans/poet would soon be taken from us, Phil RIP :( thank you for the music :)
The bloody essence of coolness walking up Grafton Street during yet another Irish economic depression.Ireland should rejoin the UK.They are totally incompetent on economic issues. They belong with their Celtic family in Scotland and Wales.
@yumorules Ireland should never join the UK, were in a mess now, but its a learning curve were still realitivly a new state with alot more learning to do. All countries at some stage get burnt by a property boom some on several occasions ie the UK. All we need to do is make sure it doesn't happen again and in a few years we'll be back on the up swing. Look at how succesful we've been, we are the most desirable place in europe for foreign investment, alot more than the say the UK.

@JamesredMr Keep an eye on Hotpress, she does book signings in St.Stephens Green in easons! hotpress will say when shes poppin in next. Otherwise,................stalk the exhibition :/..........waiting for her :L. She randomly pops in there too!! Thats how i met her .....so proud :) And ya she does live in Dublin, forgotten where again, but its near philips house.
I know that the start is at the ha'penny bridge, but what street is he on at 1:00 does anyone know?
its mad to see how different people looked back then, the fashion, the surroundings, the city. I can really feel his presense everytime I walk across the bridge!! its magic!
reat tune by Philip Lynott I remember what his mother said if you lisen to the song this boy is cracking up this boy is breaking down she says she neaver used to lisen until now and to what the words really ment if you lisen you'll get what philiomeana said about the song it's self it's so sad to see one of the greatest rock stars passed away he's sadley missed and is a loss to the rock and roal world really is a shame that Philip Lynott has passed away.
