Biden seems to be a rather colorful character. By that I mean that there are so many positive things that can be said about him that it's... slightly nonplussing. I may have to eat my words, but I expect McCain's VP pick will seem largely *inconsequential* in comparison.
After watching him more and more I ALMOST would rather have him be the presidential nominee! "Almost" being the operative word, but the point is that I'm very happy with Obama's pick.

No one else has more clear and well-conceived ideas on how to approach problem-solving of a complex nature than Joe Biden. That comes from experience, and no other candidate on either side of the isle has more experience, especially considering the specific KIND of experience we desperately need a leader to have. I don't want to vote for a woman or a black man just for novelty, I'll gladly vote for either if they're the BEST candidate.
