Big difference in sound between the basic Precision and the Deluxe Precision due to the Active electronics and P-J pickup arrangement on the Deluxe model. gusswardson asked for the model and there is a difference. Difference in price too.

Actually, it looks to me like a Fender Deluxe Precision Bass because it appears to have a J-Bass bridge pickup and neck in addition to the Precision pickups.
