Even though Halo 3 was the most polished game in the trilogy, I still think, in almost every way Halo 2 was better. The story offered many suprises, the cliffanger ending was a shock at first, yes, but it also made things very intresting there were lot of open questionts and because of that I had huge expectations for Halo 3. But the whole story in Halo 3 felt like very simple child story and there were no big suprises. Also the most of the multiplayer maps were better in Halo 2 in my opinion.

well it might 've took u 1 day but 4 me it took 3 weeks..to get passed the level 4...becoz i didn turn on the speaker , so i was loitering around in lvl 4 to kill the elite..but the door was locked n there was nothin i could do....later wen i heard abt the passage thru cortana..i was so pissed!!!

In the end I got creative I restarted the entire thing. And drove warthhog with a gunner and a passenger down there. And I left it there. At that one cutscene where it shows the elite, I saw bullets coming from my gunner in the warthhog and when I went back to the place after I beat the mission and en route to the pelican the armored elite was dead!!! And both the passenger and gunner were alive. Easy way to beat the mission.

well i didn do dat..but found a short cut after activating the cartographer..here it goes.....first activate halo(to open the door),wen u come back u find 2 elites (camoflaged) kill them..take the warthog n go up the slope u'll find 3 shields ..

take one of them n just beside it u'll find a tree ..take the warthog n drive over it keep the mouse pointed on top to make it a safe landing on the tree n the same way u get down from the tree then u'll find a wrecked pelican take a rocket launcher kill the jackal n grunts n go to the door activate halo..thats my shortcut!
