I was in Mexico in '72 where they filmed the final shoot out scene. The court yard looked just like it did in the film minus a couple of Coca Cola signs...Great Movie!!
oh, and btw, the bolivian scenes were filmed in mexico. says so in imdb. which of course does not mean that the "bolivians" were actually mexican, necessarily.
"kid, there's something i ought to tell ya...i never shot anyone before." hmm not very believable. oh, well, anyway, thanks for the great movies paul, we'll miss you.
That's a Bolivian, genius. Yes, amazingly enough, not every dark skinned, mustachioed, Spanish speaking person with a brimmed hat is a Mexican! Hard to believe, huh? Yeah, it's like there's a whole world of dark skinned Spanish speakers out there... A world that some ignorant Americans are unaware of, apparently.
P.S. Oh, and dying Mexicans is real, real funny, innit.
that was literally the most dramatic part of the movie in my opinion.
"well, we've gone straight. what do we try now?"
that just blew me away the first time.

Be that as it may, Crazyjoe didn't know that. All he knows is that dying darkies is funny! And that's all you really need to know, right? ;)

Awesome movie. Why bother with remakes? When perfection is achieved, further evolution is quite unnecessary and defies the Laws of Nature.
