i believe it, had a cat once when that big quake took place in the 1990s and caused a lot of watermain ruptures and shit. My cat was crying for a bit and then suddenly you could hear claws ripping at the carpet as it ran and seconds later the place started to shake.

i felt the earthquake heavy man. I was in the garage riding my scooter then the garage door was shaking. I thought it was a truck going by, but then I saw the car shaking and I felt the ground shaking. I ran upstairs into my aunts house and my cousin was hugging my aunt in front of the front door. The funny thing is it was on easter. Jesus is telling us he's coming soon.

That's right. That's why the movie "2012" was so ridiculous..I laughed pretty much all through it. You simply cannot stand up anywhere near the epicentre or if its a pretty big quake..Plus you lose your sense of balance (inner ear)..the ground acts like water: I've seen the ground look exactly like the ocean; waves going through it. All I could do was stand; walking or running was out of the question. And the one I was in was only a 6.3.
