  • distant relatives is one of the best albom of nas and damian marley!!!

  • is 1.07 in a song or smth?

  • THIS MESSAGE IS FOR THOSE WHO TRULY CARE! Don't support this "Industry Dictated" BULLSHITT!!! Shame on you Damian! Letting the "Industry" make the final decisions on this album. My proof! "LIL WAYNE" on the album?? What tha FUK?? That is why this album had so may release dates and never came out. Because the "Industry" wanted to do "Their Thing" wit it. A SATANIC REVISION!!

  • Nas & Damien Marley could well be the perfect combination to make the hip hop album of the decade. Everything I have heard so far just seems to reaffirm this

  • the opening statment in this, how does it go? i swear it doesnt make sense.. not propaly anyway..

  • until you start giving concete examples, your opinions are irrelevant. I understand the connection between rap and reggae. it's bloody obvious. My point was that few have ever assimilated the influences correctly, and i can't even think of one important artist that did. Not even KrS. his attempts sound clumsy.

  • veľmi sa teším, big up!!!

  • Big up!!! this is hugeeeeee!! Cant wait to hear the album!

  • @KBrizle the album for true listeners, isnt for album sales. but all profits of the album go to bulid schools and shit in africa

  • raggae/rap is kind of like rap/rock. lots of people have tried it, but few have done it well. in the case of reggae/rap, few have even tried hard at all. the reggae elements are treated like a crass pop appendage rather than a legitimate creative source in their own right.

hopefully distant relatives will change this

  • yes it's good to compare rock/rap et rap/reggae but you don't know the story of the rap and the hip hop. reggae is one of the roots of the rap, consequently the duo rap reggae is more evident that a duo rock/rap. If you know nothing about the reggae and the hip hop music and history don't speak about it and try to not make the intelligent man; sorry for my english

  • Reggae may be one of the roots of rap, but it's a 'root' that often goes unacknowledged, and let's face it, most of the time you can't hear it. a lot of rap heads will tell you the genres are not connected because they don't want to believe it. the reason this project is important is because they obviously are connected, but few have ever done it well. that's the point.

  • Your continually speaking out of ignorance. Shut The Fuck Up.

Don't respond to this as i wont read it! You've already demonstrated your lack of knowledge twice, don't make it three times.
