raggae/rap is kind of like rap/rock. lots of people have tried it, but few have done it well. in the case of reggae/rap, few have even tried hard at all. the reggae elements are treated like a crass pop appendage rather than a legitimate creative source in their own right.

yes it's good to compare rock/rap et rap/reggae but you don't know the story of the rap and the hip hop. reggae is one of the roots of the rap, consequently the duo rap reggae is more evident that a duo rock/rap. Reggae may be one of the roots of rap, but it's a 'root' that often goes unacknowledged, and let's face it, most of the time you can't hear it. a lot of rap heads will tell you the genres are not connected because they don't want to believe it. the reason this project is important is because they obviously are connected, but few have ever done it well. that's the point.
