Hey FLD, love the show! Just one thing though, it makes me cringe when you talk about prices being to high because in Australia even when our dollar was nearing 1 to 1 with the US dollar you could take any price you mention and at least double it sometimes nearly triple it and that's how much we would pay. For example an Mercedes CL65 AMG is ~$200,000US here is $500,000AUD even with the Australian dollar at a low point at the moment that's $350,000US. wtf?!

I completely agree, I mean FLD is great for quick news but they don't offer reviews, they basically just spout off the specs. Whereas the magazines actually test the cars and the specs and give you the real world numbers and expert opinions if cars are good or just crap. Car and Driver has a youtube account and the editor and chief Csaba Csere even makes videos. As a Journalist and magazine reader I think FLD should ease up on the print industry because they still offer more old school or not.

I wasn't trying to knock FLD or Derek D he delivers the news quite well. I have heard reading from a teleprompter is a challenge especially if you're not good at public speaking or lack confidence while on camera. I was just trying to say they should ease up on the print industry, considering some of the blogs and websites they get their data from are written or typed by print journalists who have had to modify their writing styles to fit the urgent "I want my news now" style of the internet.

Haha my car gets an oil change every 1200 KM, its balls but its not as bad as the clutch--4 full bore starts and its dust. so suck on that you cheap basterds who wait 6000 miles or wait until the oil looks like lumpy cow crap to get it changed. Also don't get sucked into Mr. Jiffylube cause the last time i went there they drained my fuel tank and put synthetic oil in. If u really want to piss them off though bring a 911 it took a worker almost 2 hours to figure out where the dipstick was. X)
