  • Music has made good movies into legendary movies.. i.e. First Blood, Rocky, Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Gone With The Wind... Nevermind the cgi and vulgarity. How about bringing good plots, acting, and music back?

  • 12 persons think that the dislike button is for download this song

  • welcome to hope

  • This song, as well as the movie, pays tribute to all those whom the character whises us to remember. For them we are honored.

  • Nice song and best movie ;)

  • "Er ist da draußen, und isst Sachen, die Sie zum Kotzen finden"´Einfach immer wieder Hammer die Teile !!

  • He plays the part of a man we all want to be,,,, unless your a queer !

  • I saw this on cable at my uncles house on Friday in the early 80's. I watched it every time it was on until school on Monday. Totally blown away. One of my favorite movies. I have the knife.

  • He just wanted to eat something..

  • @Chiquito1994 But the man kept pushin him. :-(

  • @Chiquito1994 All he wanted was to find his friend. And when he realized his friend died, it was all downhill from there.

  • This movie did 125m world wide in 1982!!

  • welcome to HOPE

  • love the trumpet in this its so haunting

  • Such a shame they made all those shitty sequals. The original rocks.

It would have been better if the movie ended the same way the novel did, in which Rambo fools Trautman into shooting him. This scene was shot for the movie but at the time, they feared people would be let down by the "sad ending".

Many real Vietnam vets experienced what Rambo did at the beginning of the movie. Seen as "damaged goods" by the society they returned to

Jerry Goldsmith had 17 Oscar nominations, only won 1. Unfair

  • @McLarenMercedes Jerry Goldsmith had 17 Oscar nominations, only won 1. Unfair

Agreed. Goldsmith was a master composer and should have been heralded as such.

  • Jerry Goldsmith is a legend. He live forever.

  • God i love this music.... it reminds me of the cartoon, force of freedom!

  • 12 dislikes? i thought 6 people were sent into the woods to get rambo... guess they all had 2 accounts :P

  • Rambo can sleep with his eye's open.

  • This image at the start of the first movie and the one where he is walking down the road of his home farm is just great. Can I ask if the inage above is a screen capture, or if not, where might find it? Thanks for posting both.

  • mnogo nejna pesen na ne nejen film :D:D:D:D iskam da kaja che ima mnogo karvishta no zatva e qk

  • and to think if delmar berry had of lived we wouldnt of had all these great rambo movies

  • que gran banda sonora posee rambo

  • I loved all the rambo movies except part 3 which was just a poor copy of rambo 2.

  • @emaimon1 I disagree on that

  • @emaimon1 how was it?

  • Dislike button should be removed in that song.

  • gives me feel that in end all will going to be well if not then it is not end.

  • Who would dislike such a classic song

  • I was havy wounded when John Rambo ambush me and my team in the jungle, so I thumb it down, even I like the song.

  • i wonder what happen to that pig king shit cop teagel probably paralyzed.....nah brian dehnehey kicks ass....happy fourth of july everyone!! and remember bout those terrorist THEY DREW FIRST BLOOD!......

  • It's amazing how different the movie is from the original novel. For instance: in the film, the story takes place in the Pacific Northwest. In the novel, it takes place in Madison, Kentucky. I love the book & the film.

  • @emperorofmoldavia1 Also in the book Rambo died when Troutman blew his brains out, which caused Kirk Douglas to drop out playing Troutman cause he had a disagreement with the filmakers as to why they didn't stick to the ending from the book.

  • @OneCrazyWolfman Quite true. Another difference I enjoyed was how, in the book, Rambo actually killed Teasle's posse and in the film he simply hospitalized them. Have you read any of David Morrell's other work? I've at least read First Blood Part II & The Fraternity Of The Stone. I first read his work when I was a Senior in high school, starting with First Blood, and I've been a huge fan, ever since.

  • Hey John, welcome in Home

  • "First Blood" by Necro :)

  • ןthis man "rambo" his my hero and i wish to meet silvester stallon i love this man!

    his realy my hero !!!

  • i love this movie and soundtrack

  • watch?v=34TARPFhiG0

  • favourite action movie forever

  • @RAMBO950824 me too ! ^^

  • haha i love this movie

  • Snif...;( (Pleur)

  • @sylvain523 u big baby, you ;)

  • When some people look at Rambo, they picture him as a cold killer, but actually he was a nice man until SOMEONE had to come and charge him with vagrancy for nothing. Rambo wasn't fighting a war with the police, he was fighting the war that was inside him.

  • @chikautube He is actually a correct decent man, but overwhelmed by circumstances that leave him by his own, with nobody else whom he can turn to. A very well developed character, touching and deep.

  • You never expect such a gritty, serious action flick about a vet suddenly turned on by an abusive town to then fight his own countrymen in the army to start out so peacefully. This music fits in as to someone just roaming around, taking in the fresh air, and admiring the scenery.

Truly expresses a genuine sense of humanity to John Rambo. Someone who is trying to find peace after Vietnam..

  • it's not my war...

  • gracias cine por haberme enseñado ke habia un hombre que se llamava stallone.un monstruo del cine gracias

  • Rambo część pierwsza to więcej niż film, to więcej niż ten utwór....to historia życia! Historia człowieka, który nie ma do czego wracać....

  • GRAN CANCION Y GRAN PELICULA!! :D

  • Which US State is that? All woods and snowtop mountains?

  • @andorhalier as far as i know the entire movie plays in canada

  • @andorhalier It was filmed in Canada.

  • @andorhalier First Blood was entirely filmed in a little town called ''Hope'' and in the Rockies of the province of British-Columbia, Canada.

  • 12 people got ambushed in the woods by Rambo.

  • @IndianaCat94 I took the time to write a reply, because that is how much I appreciate your post. +1

  • @IndianaCat94 Hi just a guy from Sweden and vi all love this mowie

  • @RBALarsson

This is a wonderful movie. Real classic :) I love sweden

  • @IndianaCat94 still 12 i guess they got the message :D

  • Shine please,shine.

  • I think the first and last Rambo movies are the best....parts 2 and 3 are just trivial to me for some reason....

  • I saw First Blood tomorrow when I was an old man.

  • rambo first blood is one of my favorite movies from Sly next to rocky. I feel for him because he was pushed just for trying to eat and live and he fought for his country.

  • I still remember when i first heard this music at the beginning of the movie.

Still in love with this music and Sly.

  • @assaultk47 I can relate to that . Its a wonderfully composed piece of music which suits the intro . What a shame Stallone wasn't nominated for an Academy award for his performance I think .

  • COME RAMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Rambo First Blood is the best movie outta the entire series, and its good still despite no one actually gets killed by Rambo lol. well intentionally anyway (helicopter police officer lol)

  • This masterpiece is as gritty and REAL!!!! (can't emphasize that enough) as it gets...the days of Hollywood producing classic films such as this are seemingly long gone. "Homecoming", as well as the score as a whole, were simply a GRAND SLAM from the late, great Jerry Goldsmith. God rest his soul..

  • @phantomlord54 u got that rite :/

  • @phantomlord54 I hear that. It seems, these days, it's rare when Hollywood actually comes out with anything good. And, yes, Jerry was a hell of a composer. One of my favorites, along with John Williams. May he rest in peace.

  • Excellent !

  • wolfover552-sir I hear you loud and clear. The whole reason I joined the military and now retired. May be a movie to most but I am proud to be one like him. The Vietnam Vets trained me and I learned well. In years to come with current wars that legacy holds true today. My salute to you. Be proud of what you did because it made my life what it is today.

  • A Hero of my Childhood and Youth Days!

  • Im a bit of a sentimentalist + when I listen to this track I feel like Im being rocketed into a 4th dimension of existence . Its totally gripping . The acting from Stallone throughout and especially in the final scene is unsurpassed in any equivalent action movie . Ted Kotcheff did a superb job at directing this film . A masterpiece .

  • Just wonderful, just wonderful.

Always new for me when he is walking with this theme playing.

    Cant explain . indescribable feeling.

And the lake ? Oh my. What a beautiful park...sight.

When Galt kicks him, i feel pain (just kidding, but a loveble character ah ?)

  • Dude, this theme is epic...

  • for some gay reason it makes me want to cry idk why....maybe its the inner warrior

  • the first rambo film is my favourite

  • Einfach genialer Score... Ich kann Rambos Einsamkeit spüren!

  • This was when Stallone had not yet begun his regimen of anabolic steroids for Rocky 3. Can you imagine Stallone from Rocky 2 fighting Clubber Lang?!?!!!!!!

  • Trautman: Any ideas?

    Rambo: Surroundin' them is out.

Trautman: Hell of an idea, John.

  • I love this sad and beautiful music until childfood.^^

  • live for nothing die for somthing

  • This is the perfect song for somebody who is leaving/just died. I almost cried, and it is next to impossible to make me cry.

I love Rambo. May his legacy live on.

  • I agree is an era of kids growing with noble goals and becoming warriors..not like today where been a thug and gansters is the coolest thing,,and the youth dont see thats there grave for this future generations..Live for ever JOHN RAMBO...

  • This track actually makes me want to cry.

  • God damnit we're losing it! We need to do something :'(.

  • Why don't we get quality music like this anymore? Now people "call" rap music!!!

  • @Bzttrex We get this because all the old people will die soon, they can't make music thats all over the radio anymore.. In 50 years the world will be run by people who make/like rap and this shit!... We need to stand up and do something!

  • Einfach Nur Hammmer ***____*** I love John Rambo <3

  • rambo is just not a movie, it is an era.

  • is chuck norris in rambo first blood part becoz the american POW on the chopper gunner looks abit like him

  • @KOkiller1289 right like metal slug prisonners !!!!

  • Rambo 4 sucked. Rambo 3 was too cartoonish. Rambo: First Blood: Part 2 was a big, dumb chunk of iconic action b.s.. First Blood delivered, but was a bunch of mush-mouthed propaganda. But, at least it delivered.

  • @JWRandall423 if u think that u need to get off youtube lad

  • @KOkiller1289 I need to get off the whole of YouTube, because I hold an opinion? Okay, war hero, whatever. But, a little perspective... I've seen all four movies. I was actually looking foward to the last movie; in hopes that Sly would close out the series in style, like he did with Rocky. I took my fiancee; we saw it at the Beverly Center, here in L.A.; and with popcorn and soda, I ended up spending $41! So, I got a little skin in the game, buddy. Rambo just standing behind a .50 cal? Come on!

  • Rambo owns

  • Its a question for all you fans...

What will your reaction be when you hear Sly has died ?

    Seriously....Will you cry ?

  • @rishi851 that wont be for a very long time he is very fit i can see him livin past 100

  • @rishi851 NO cos there's always chuck norris

  • @rishi851 Yes i would, i would be very upset....Would you.

  • lol rambo wear the same clothes at rambo 4!!!!

  • This is the only smile we will see on his face in the entire film LONG LIVE SLY.

  • The first film is deeper than the followers but I just love them all, Stallone and Schwarzenegger are amazing.

I thank you both for all the great memories and movies

  • @ACDCFan15Swe

I think it`s because the first one is based on a novel.

  • this is awesomr

  • Awesome song!!! Ultra-Great!

  • Don't push it or I'll give you a war you won't believe...

  • @xourkis ... Cause when you're pushed, killing's as easy as breathing.

  • EPIC!!!

  • Great memories... classic! This theme and all his movies should never be forgotten.

  • Conservative movies are always the best.

  • A DRAFT DODGER VERIFIED! FINE MOVIE BUT BEWARE OF EXTENDING YOUR FANTASIES PEOPLE! SLY MOVED TO SWITZERLAND DURING NAM, AS OPPOSED TO VENTURA, WHOM ACTUALLY SERVED!

    REPLIES NOT READ

  • 'its over johnney, its over!'

'Nothing is over!! nothing! you just dont turn it off, it wasnt my war, you asked me i didnt ask you, and i did what i had to do to win, but somebody wouldnt let us win, then i come back to the world and i see all those maggots at the airport, protesting me, spitting, calling me baby killer and all kinds of vial crap! who are they to protest me huh!? who are they? unless they've been me and been there and know what the hell they are yelling about!' and so on.....

  • @wolflover552 Great! All that is missing is the spitting when he says "Nothing'" :-)

  • @wolflover552 brilliant speech...I have to admint.

  • @icecube45

yeah it is, very true aswell, its not the soldiers fault they are caught up in these battles, its actually the goverments

  • @wolflover552 - in continuation - "It was a bad time for everyone Rambo, it's all in the past now"

"FOR YOU! For me civilian life is nothin'! Back there we had a code of honour: You watch my back I watch yours. Back here there's nothin'!

"Your the last of an elite group....don't end it like this"

"Back there I could fly a gunship, I could drive a tank. I was in charge of million dollar equipment! Back here, I can't even hold a job, or a fucking gun!" (primal yell)

  • One of the best movie themes ever. Thanks for posting this good quality recording.

  • This is amazing........

  • First Blood, the first movie, is definitely the best in the Rambo series. And this opening scene still makes me cry, this one and the final scene although I saw the movie many times. The music is just wonderful...

  • First Blood is the best of the series. And the opening scene, with this music, always gives me the chills even though I've watched it 10^6 times.

  • fuck those hippies. we will remember your friends forever. We love you Soldier. We love you Rambo...

  • @RezaShah4
