@sgsmith1616 when Cromwell slaughtered the Irish Britain was a republic so it has nothing to do with god save the queen. when king billy defeated the Irish at battle of the boyne king billy is Dutch and killed the King of England.
@HaiLsKuNkY I don't want to be the turd in the punchbowl for you, but Britain killed Irish people even as a kingdom. For example, not doing that much to help the Irish during the potato famine. Or all the other injustices against the Irish while it was under the King's (or Queen's) rule.
